Guest guest
Anyone know of an Endro near Davenport or Iowa City Iowa that will test for T and E? My urologist claims not needed. Been on 200 mg T every two weeks for a long time with not real results. Thanks
Guest guest
There are endocrinologists at Uof I Hospital in Iowa City, but my experience there has not been great so I'm looking for another doctor. The one I've seen is very narrow minded about treatment, seems very annoyed when I ask questions and make educated suggestions, and refuses to order estradiol tests even though I've practically begged for them. I hope to find someone in private practice who's progressive and educated about hypogonadism. And I also want to find the gold at the end of the rainbow . If you see a doctor at the hospital if would help greatly to talk to him/her for a few minutes by phone or perhaps email in advance of having an appointment - sort of a mini-interview - and find out how he/she treats hypogonadism, attitude toward using different types of meds, etc. There's no point in having a 15 minute/$200 appointment only to find out the doctor is a jerk. There are endocrinologists in private practice in Cedar Rapids that I'm going to investigate. Good luck. Trust me, you'll need it. -- Original Message ----- From: happy_am_eye <happy_am_eye@...> Sent: Saturday, January 04, 2003 8:19 PM Subject: Endro Anyone know of an Endro near Davenport or Iowa City Iowa that will test for T and E?
