Guest guest
My impression is that the first day off of the gel you should start to see your levels fall off. I am not sure how long it will take for all of it to go but I would imagine you should be clean in 5 days to a week. My thought at least. > On avg, how long would it take for T to leave the body? > > I have been on Testim for 3 months and I am trying get all of > the " unnormal " T out of my body far a base line. > > > Thanks, > Nick
Guest guest
Nick, That should happen within a few days, like 3 - 7 days max, and then absolutely zero exogenous t will be in your system. Guest guest
I believe the half-life of testosterone in its pure form is about 18- 24 hours or so. But transdermal delivery systems tend to have something of a depo effect (where a certain amount actually stays in your skin and slowly leaks into the bloodstream over time), so I think the 3-7 day thing is a reasonable estimate. FYI though, stopping T won't really give you a baseline at this point. After 3 months, you body's own production of T surely has greatly diminished, so what will happen is you will crash - your T levels will actually be much lower than a baseline. > > > On avg, how long would it take for T to leave the body? > > > > > > I have been on Testim for 3 months and I am trying get all of > > > the " unnormal " T out of my body far a base line. > > > > > > > > > Thanks, > > > Nick
Guest guest
Thanks for the post, I am actually baselining to retake LH and FSH levels. My last Doc took my LH and FSH levels after I was on TRT for 2 weeks. I went from 1 tube of Testim down to .5 tube for 6 days, then to nothing. I will stay off of TRT for 3-4 weeks and then retest my Lipids CBC FSH LH T4 Free T TSH. Then I hope to go to two tubes of Testim. My levels on one tube were at 530, I hope to go to 1000. Thanks, Nickso > > > > On avg, how long would it take for T to leave the body? > > > > > > > > I have been on Testim for 3 months and I am trying get all of > > > > the " unnormal " T out of my body far a base line. > > > > > > > > > > > > Thanks, > > > > Nick
Guest guest
Well, keep in mind that you still might not have baseline LH levels even 3-4 weeks after. The length of time suppression remains is somewhat variable. 3-4 weeks is probably long enough for most guys to return to normal levels, so I guess its worth a shot. But keep in mind some men take longer, and some never return, and you may not be able to tell whether your numbers reflect where you were before all this began. > > > > > On avg, how long would it take for T to leave the body? > > > > > > > > > > I have been on Testim for 3 months and I am trying get all of > > > > > the " unnormal " T out of my body far a base line. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Thanks, > > > > > Nick
