, after some 30 years self injecting depotestosterone I can

tell you to tell her to put you on anything but the shots, they hit

and disapate, they are most likely to cause the up and down mood

swings. Shippen says they are worst way to deliver T. I would have

a good compounding pharmacy in your area mix up some T gel, NOT a

cream, mix it srong, so you can rub some into your upper arm inside

betweent the elbow and shoulder morning and evening bicep area, most

muscle less fat to least encourage estrgen, about 5mg twice a day.

Hi,

She probably put you on the best testosterone replacement therapy she

knows or provides for her patients.

If you get some books on TRT such as " The Tesosterone Syndrome " , by

Dr. Eugene Shipp-en, $14.95 at and Noble, You will find out

about the other TRT options.

I've been on TRT via hormone pellets which disolve gradually over 4

months with no required patient involvement or oportunity of rub it

off on your spouse. They are surgically placed under the skin and cost

about the same or cheaper than the other alternative forms of T therapy.

There is also a problem with E when you receive T every few days in

some sort of delivery system. The body doesn't respond the same to

gradual constant doses and avoids the E problem.

I get 20 - 75mg pellets every 4 months.

how often are you getting the 200 mg. shot once a month if so I can

see why. I would have to say if I was going back to shots I would do 100 mg per

week. The last time I was getting a 200 mg. shot every other week on top of

10 grams of Testim. You are not getting enough T.

Actually, I asked for the shots over the gel. She said we could try HCG but

only after two months on T. When she gave me the gel or shot option, I opted

for the shot. The reasons being: 1) I am afraid of needles and thought getting

shots would help counter my lifelong fear and 2) it is so easy.

I can wait for the HCG I am a nervous wreck about the T. I have a disease

induced hypo and there is a chance my system will return to normal. I am worried

T will further erode my chances of getting back to normal.
