Guest guest
Thanks Phil, That will help, but I thought I had seen a formular for the the dosing. I thought I saw something about what mg. and how many pellets the your weight. He does not want to end up with only enough pellets to give the bottom of the range. Thanks Again........ Guest guest
Hi, The web site info is bad. The testopel supplier, Bartor, is giving out bad info. on dosage. No one will benefit from those low levels and not come back for a second set of pellets. Pharmaceutical reps are very conservative and do not have good info for the new doctors they advise on hormones. Patients typically only spend their money once for the hormone therapy. Talked with Dr. Gambrell about this and he says of all the TRT therapies available you can tell which are the most effective by the quantity of patients that repeat or continue the treatment. Most doctors report 20-40 percent repeaters. Dr. Gambrell's patients repeat their pellets 60% or more of the time. This is his dosage formula. Subtract 30 pounds from you total weight. For every 10 pounds remaining you should get a 75mg pellet up to a max of 20 pellets for a man. For a 230 pound man this is 1500mg for 4 months or 120 days. This results in 12.5ml/day. When the pellets are not high enough in dosage, the benefit is not obtained. A level of 700-900 T is required to obtain the benefit that will bring the patient back for another set of pellets in 4 months. ernestnolan > Hi, I have a friend who is about to start on pellets and I would like > to know if there is a formula for the the dosing. > > The doctor does female implants, but this is this first guy. > Ta,
Guest guest
Thank you. That is what I was looking for and I think Your doctor is spot on. I just wish mine was on the ball. If my friend gets it to work for him, then I might try them, as I've had enough of the bi-weekly needle. Thanks again, Magenta. > > Hi, I have a friend who is about to start on pellets and I would like > > to know if there is a formula for the the dosing. > > > > The doctor does female implants, but this is this first guy. > > Ta,
