Guest guest
-******everything you showed me with your test results looks like hypogonadism to me. Looks secondary. I would have an mri to look for a pituitary/hypothalamus problem....probably not, but possible. My numbers are similar to yours and I am 38. I've been on androgel for 2 years and I love it. Have a complete blood work up done, look at cortisol, estradiol and dhea-s. Do this prior to assuming t replacement (going on and off t sucks.) Then, go on 10 grams of androgel or the equivalent in Testim. 5 grams will improve you, but the exogenous replacement will shut down your natural t production and give you the t level of a much older man. The 10 g will get you back to about 25 years old...and you'll feel like it. Also, get a bone density scan...mine came back indicative of osteopenia, a precursor to osteoporosis. T replacement will help this. Lastly, if you smoke or drink too much, cut that shit out. It will make this problem worse. I think it started mine. Also, read all of the information in the files and links section, be informed and be in charge!-- In , " snowking " <snowking@g...> wrote: > > I am a 34 year old male and have never had a problem with my penis until > March 2003 (probably sooner but I only realised it then) > > I started taking Propecia (finasteride 1mg) in October 2002 and was on it > about 5 and a half months. This seems not to be the case for you. You'll know if it is helping you within a reasonable time after starting treatment. 4) Given your age and your t level it seems very, very likely that you are indeed hypogonadal. It is possible that your levels were falling anyway and starting Propecia dropped your DHT even further making symptoms appear slightly earlier than they otherwise might. Who knows? Guest guest
Your story is exacly same as mine, the only difference I was taking another hairloss crap called Multiflora. It did stop the hairloss but it also made secondary HH in about 7 months. And yes, with such low LH and FSH your results look like secondary HH. It's been now about a year I am fighting it with no significant improvements, though I opted for 'more natural' treatment -Clomid. I think, the very first thing to do is read thru posts and links in our group, educate yourself and then try to find a knowledgable MD (I still can not). Good luck >From: " snowking " <snowking@...> >Reply- >< > >Subject: My story and my test results >Date: Mon, 5 Jan 2004 18:38:47 -0000 > > >I am a 34 year old male and have never had a problem with my penis until >March 2003 (probably sooner but I only realised it then) > >I started taking Propecia (finasteride 1mg) in October 2002 and was on it >about 5 and a half months. Guest guest
Brad, No significant improvements - means still ED, low libido and not feeling much better overall. As to LH, FSH and T, after 10 days on 50mg/day Clomid it all shot thru the roof LH - 11 T - 1380 E2 - 37 >From: brad999us <no_reply > >Reply- > >Subject: Re: My story and my test results >Date: Tue, 06 Jan 2004 17:52:48 -0000 > > > > Your story is exacly same as mine, the only difference I was taking >another > > hairloss crap called Multiflora.
