Guest guest
I've had a lot of problems with " brain fog " and this has really messed up my life. I finally got thyroid treatment and this has helped, although I would say the change has been modest. The experience of a drug treatment helping for a short time and then having the positive effect go away is very common. I have heard that this process has the name " tachyphylaxis " . It seems like it happens to me with almost every new treatment I have tried. In particular HCG seemed like a miracle drug and gave me the libido of a teenager, for about a week.. Recently, I have been using tamoxifen (inhibits effect of E2). This made me feel really good for the first few weeks, but now I am not noticing the effect anymore. Maybe some scientists know why it is that the human body seems to adjust to eliminate the effect of new medications but if so, I haven't heard what they have discovered. Guest guest
I totally agree with this... I have experienced the same thing with all meds in regards to libido etc. Hcg did the same thing for me.. felt incredible for 4 weeks and then its slowly adjusted back.. the body is just amazing how it will always adapt. We are tampering with something that is alot more complicated than we fully understand at this time.. Bobby.. I had the same problem as you in regards to the testosterone, lots of fog and sexual dysfunction at 250 mgs a week after a period of time..mine took longer to set in as I was taking Sustanon, which I think is a superior blend of testosterone esters rather than just the one, cypionate. My Estrogen levels were very high like yours. What has helped me, was stopping the testosterone for a period of 2 months and then slowly starting it again at a much lower dose... my brain fog has gone and my sex dysfunction has improved incredibly. I tried arimidex and felt awful on it after just a few days... it made me feel extremely foggy, so I stopped it. While I stopped the testosterone I took just HcG... so I still had some testosterone in my system. I still take some HcG but just a very small amount once or twice a week to maintain some testicular function. Its obvious to me that you can have the fog at either end of estrogen extremes. 250mgs is alot of testosterone per week... I like the benifits of taking that much for the gym... as im a gym instructor, but it caused too many other problems.. it gave me a level of 1350ng/dl... too high!! I have experiemented a little recently with 250mgs again.. and sure enough after 1 day following the injection, my problems come back for a few days.. then It all starts to improve as the e2 must get metabolized. > I've had a lot of problems with " brain fog " and this has really > messed up my life.
