Guest guest
tallen2_34, It's unfortunate that " Poll " function is inoperative, in contrast to several other to which I belong i.e. gay_and_bisexual_ED/?yguid=4213886 Alt-Support-Impotence-ASI/ This type question lends itself to accumulating data via poll. I would suggest that we create a folder in files section here. Individuals that are on AndroGel and wishing to participate could just create a document describing when last AG application was and when they were bled, day/time for hormone assay(s) and assay results. Then volunteers to work on it could review the files and interpret the data....I may be making it too complex... Dunno... Guest guest
Yes, I have asked about the polling function a few times, but have never received a response from the group moderators. Guest guest
Nickso, IMO " a poll function " would really be appropriate for this group. Would be nice if moderators would keep " riding herd " (Texas lingo) until an answer, as to why we do not have " poll function " is received from . Is our group that different/unusual from other that have " poll function " ? Guest guest
Any moderator.... Any update on the " no Polls " issue? I and others believe it would be a nice to have. Guest guest
Nickso, If poll function was activated...we could sure gather a lot of data quickly. Guest guest
Sorry everyone - I've been off the board for a couple of days.. The answer is that when you set up a new group you're asked to make certain choices about how the group operates. You only get to make these choices once. Here's what it says in the Management console: Email Address Display : Your group allows members to hide their email address from the group. Your group cannot use the Polls feature. Members who hide their email address may not post messages via email. This setting cannot be changed. The creator of the group (who has long since vanished, by the way), chose to allow members to hide their e-mails and thus, the Polls feature is unavailable. I'm not sure why is so inflexible in group structure, but there is nothing we can do to change it. We could find another way to take polls. Oreon had a good idea. We could also create a database for the answers and let members post there. Everyone put on your thinking caps and we'll figure out a way...
