I don't understand. Your doc says your thyroid is high. The tsh says low.

Which is it? Ask a lot of questions. As many as it takes to understand. I

know what it is like to feel so lousy. Seems it will never end. I have been

off treatment six months. Still have headaches. Now the doc wants me to see

a neurologist. I know it is all caused by treatment. Never had the problem

before I started. I am tired of doctors and am not going. Keep plugging

away. Meghan

TSH is part of your thyroid test. On my labs, normal is 1 - 5, but when I got

to 3 and above, I felt very bad. I've read that for women, a TSH level of 2 is

optimum and that women are more sensitive to changes in TSH than men. I don't

know what is the norm for your labs. I would get a copy and keep copies of all

your labs.

Hi

Have you tried Imitrex for migraines? Not sure if I spelled that right. I know

they are very expensive....like $5 a pill....but they're supposed to work so

I've heard. There are a lot of commercials on tv advertising it.

Imitrex, Zomig, Maxalt are all good for migraines. I take Maxalt cuz they have a

pill that disolves under the tongue and it works very fast.

the board will tell you YES the spike is from the shot that you took that day.

also from many posts...it says the peak from an injection is normally 24-72 hrs

after the shot...so u may possibly go even higher than the 1520 reported...WOW.

i would think that's very high...but then again im new to TRT.

weren't u also on Progesterone?

Regards

I take 2 50mg shots per week. If I took a shot at 9am in the morning

and had my bloodwork taken around 1 or 2 that afternoon would that

spike my testosterone levels. Becasue I just got my bloodwork back and

my total level was 1520, which is high and I was wondering if it was

from the shot that day. I am also taking some pro-hormone supplements.

So if its not from the shot that day then it could possibly be becasue

of these supplements.

Becasue I have been taking the 2 50mg shots like this for a year or so

and my blood levels were around 700-800

Yes I am using progesterone on and off to control the estrogen.

Anyway, I feel great and think that the high level was due to the

shot also. My last shot was on monday so I am thinking about going

again tomorrow morning to get my levels tested or on Monday. The rise

could also be due to the pro-hormone supplements I have been taking

over the last month.

I just finished a kidney/gall bladder cleanse last weekend and started

the master cleanse diet the day after and still on it since then (5

days so far).

My question is how long should I wait to have blood work done to see

the results?

Btw since doing the cleanse and diet my BP and gb problems are gone! :)
