Guest guest
I think 1,000 iu is equal to 1cc. Are you taking the HCG IM or SubQ? If you are relatively thin then there is evidence that SubQ will work equally as well. As for the bone density issue, I am not your mother, but you should treat it very seriously. You might be young now, but you will be old for longer than you are to remain young. Do the math. You need a proper diet, good T, good E, and weight bearing exercise. Do not engage in endurance activity or swimming. Only lift weights. I would follow the body for life program. It is a sensible program. Don't do any exercises like squats with a barbell - you might compress your back or " pop it. " Also, watch your neck. Good luck to you. Since the vial has 3,333 IU in it and diluent is 1.5 cc, I assume 5cc means 1,000 IU approx twice a week. We will review progress with the doc in 6 weeks. Yes, we have one kid and plan on one more (hopefully), which is another reason to worry about T level. Maybe severe osteoporosis is overstating it, but loss of ½ inch in height in two years, and bone density at the bottom of the scale seemed scary. My doc is calling the disease Syndrome X or metabolic Syndrome. Please refer to: http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=534 This has resulted in mild hypothyroidism too. Plus secondary hypogonadism.
Guest guest
Thanks . I am taking the HCG SubQ. It peaks at 72 hours but after only 36 I am seeing a definite increase in hardness and size of my testes. On the bone loss, I am doing moderate weight lifting using machines rather than free weights to avoid an accident like you mention. On leg presses I use a machine that you sit in so it supports my back, the stress being taken by the sacrum. TVM! _____ From: doublebluellc@... Guest guest
I believe that the physiological benefits of HCG peak significantly sooner than 72 hours. I think the peak of that action happens in the first 20 hours. Armyguy > Thanks . > > > > I am taking the HCG SubQ. Guest guest
You are correct: PHARMACOKINETICS * Onset- initial response 2 hours (IM) * Onset- peak response 6 hours (IM) * Duration- single dose is 36 hours (IM) * SC administration results in a delayed peak serum level, a lower peak concentration, and a lower AUC, relative to IM administration. * Cleared from the circulation by glomerular filtration * Elimination half-life is 5.6 hours _____ From: armyguy4001 [mailto:no_reply ] Sent: Thursday, July 29, 2004 1:05 PM Subject: Re: Complete hormone replacement I believe that the physiological benefits of HCG peak significantly sooner than 72 hours.
