Guest guest
i've read the link you posted, and what i read disheartens me. symptons: 1. They may experience learning difficulties (i have ADD) 2. especially with verbal or spoken skills (i have trouble expressing myself, and putting words together) 3. They may have difficulty in concentrating for more than a few minutes on any single topic (ADD again) 4. They may have problems in socialising with other children of their own age group (somewhat of a problem) 5. This affects their ability to learn to read and spell, as well as their ability to learn arithmetic skills (no problems spelling, some problems reading) 6. they may develop breast enlargement (no) 7. If testosterone is low, muscle development and beard growth may be reduced, and sexual interest lowered (yes) 8. Men with KS are usually sterile (no clue) 9. They tend to have longer arms and legs and tend to be taller than their peers (i am 6'0) 10. Lack of emotion, fatigue and apathy are common (yes becoming more of a problem) honestly i am scared to death how closely i identify with this. i am glad i have found this message board, and have people to talk about it, but at the same time, i feel sad because in order to help myself it will be a very very long road ahead of me. for the people who know/dealt with KS, what do you recommend i do? > > hi, i'm a 19 year old university student, and have some questions > > about low testosterone. up until a couple days ago, i had never > > thought that i had any sort of testosterone problems, but then i > > overheard some people talking about it. i immediately identified > with > > the person... common symptons of fatigue, low motivation, low sex > > drive, etc. so i was a little curious, and went to see my doctor > > about it. they took my blood test, and the result numbers came out > to > > be 271. i have not talked to my doctor about it yet, but it seems a > > bit low. what do you all reccommend? i'm a very passive person, and > i > > feel i need something that will become more initiative. thanks > > I read your other posts also. > > If you have almost no upper body hair, low sex drive, large male > breasts, low testosterone, & problems with language expression then > you may want to look at Klinefelter's Mosaic on the web. > here is one site > http://www.klinefelter.org.uk/whatisKS.htm#What > > Good luck,
Guest guest
You may not be ks. Those are symptoms of ks but they are also symptoms of low testosterone. First thing, go to your doctor (whoever you got your t test from), and get tested for ks. Then you will know. Until then, don't worry too much about that aspect. The most important thing now is to figure out why your t is low. the other test you need are: LH FSH Prolactin Ferratin Total T (Again) Free T Estradiol SHBG Armyguy > > > hi, i'm a 19 year old university student, and have some questions > > > about low testosterone. up until a couple days ago, i had never > > > thought that i had any sort of testosterone problems, but then i > > > overheard some people talking about it. i immediately identified > > with > > > the person... common symptons of fatigue, low motivation, low sex > > > drive, etc. so i was a little curious, and went to see my doctor > > > about it. they took my blood test, and the result numbers came > out > > to > > > be 271. i have not talked to my doctor about it yet, but it seems > a > > > bit low. what do you all reccommend? i'm a very passive person, > and > > i > > > feel i need something that will become more initiative. thanks > > > > I read your other posts also. > > > > If you have almost no upper body hair, low sex drive, large male > > breasts, low testosterone, & problems with language expression then > > you may want to look at Klinefelter's Mosaic on the web. > > here is one site > > http://www.klinefelter.org.uk/whatisKS.htm#What > > > > Good luck,
Guest guest
thadon, You ask: " What do you recommend I do? " , with obvious apprehension. I recommend you avoid anxiety as much as possible. It can cause at least 6 of those 10 symptoms., in and of itself. Worry won't make things clearer, easier, faster or better, quite the contrary. Yeah, easier said than done. Ask your doctor if you can get tested for KS, as part of investigating your symptoms. Good luck, and keep us posted. Guest guest
> i've read the link you posted, and what i read disheartens me. > symptons: > ><snip> Never worry about things you can not change. Find your strong points & go with them. I have a degree in Computer Science. If you have KS or KSM you can try Testosterone supplements to see if they help. They helped me. I have many of the conditions listed. My extra female chromosomes seem to be in my upper body. I have 42C breast along with weakened sperm. I am married for many years & have children. It took several thousand trys for the first pregnancy, but it was fun trying. Lack of upper body hair is a blessing in not having to shave every day. I have learning problems with speaking, writing, & spelling of English language. Reading is no problem. 3D visualization is good with me. But computer languages are the way I make my living. I can write & speak several computer languages with no problem. Many KS guys seem to be in the computer fields. Maybe it is just a field that attracts loners or maybe it is a field of special language we can understand & write. Go with the positive & good luck.
