Guest guest
I don't think our balls are supposed to be hiding all the time! We know they're supposed to be out so they're cool. I don't know if HCG will make them go lower, but I did read a Medline article that implied giving newborns with undescended testicles LH (luteinizing hormone) will make their balls descend. Which makes me wonder, since I had retractile testis all my life (but it became painful when they shrank on T and started going up the inguinal canal), maybe the low level of LH I know I had was enough to make my testes descend, but not all the way down as nature intended. So retractile testis was the result. Maybe there is a correlation between retractile testis and secondary hypogonadism? I will say that I would have the orchiopexy again if I needed to because I feel that much better!
Guest guest
Serendipityquest, Maybe a little something from our gay culture that might be helpful for retractile nuts. A boyfriend gave me my first cockring (CR) when I was 36...immediately after putting CR on, I knew that it was for me...I'm soon to be 64 and have worn a CR ever since then 80% of time. Wearing my CR to bed each night makes my nocturnal erections (NEs) much harder. IMO our NEs are our most important erections. Here's a site to give you an idea of variety of CRs... http://www.mbpro.com/cbt/cbtstraps.html Simple metal and neoprene " O " rings can be bought at most hardward stores for ~$1.00. Personally, I feel neoprene CRs difficult to get on compared with metal CRs. For beginners, neoprene might be good until you find your right size....if it's too tight, you can always cut off with scissors...not that easy with a metal CR. My favorite CR is a leather wrapped 2 " inside diameter (ID), a 1 3/4 " is too small and a 2 " too large...wrapping in leather reduces size for a perfect fit. Retracting of my nuts pre cockrings was never that problematic...but wearing CR eliminated even that infrequent occurrences. Just my experiences....
