Guest guest
Received this from my online doc. I told him that I understand that zinc increases ejaculate volume. " never take more than 50mg per day. More than that has been shown to increase the risk of cancer. Check out my sticky thread called " for those of yu who are wild about zinc " . Btw, you are free to share my advice for you with all others on the boards. Maybe we can help others stay healthy that way. The point is, there's a difference between resolving a deficiency and taking mega amounts. " He is a doctor who works with HRT and has three online forums: www.SculptedByIron.com www.CuttingEdgeMuscle.com www.MassMonsters.com Evidently most of his work is with athletes, making sure that if they're trying to bulk up they're doing so safely. I went to the ScultedByIron site and found his thread, which included this: " Too Much Zinc May Increase Prostate Cancer Risk Results of a recent study by researchers at the US National Cancer Institute (NCI) have revealed that men who take too much zinc may be increasing their risk of developing prostate cancer. Dr Leitzmann and colleagues examined surveys filled out by 46,974 male health professionals. Results showed that men who took more than 100 mg of zinc a day had more than twice the risk of advanced prostate cancer, compared with men who did not take supplementary zinc. The recommended daily intake of zinc is 11 mg, however it is thought that at least 10% of men who take supplementary zinc take two-to-three times more than the recommended amount. " This is the Doc that operates allthingsmale.com - Dr. . His username online in the forums is SWALE. Just a quick glance showed that he lists all the labwork he recommends, he answers HRT questions, and he is very up with current research. He said that " Dr. Shipman is a true pioneer. However, he ideas have been surpassed by my protocols, which are by and far the most " cutting edge " . " I'm officially a patient of his now. I'll keep you guys posted on what happens. Meanwhile, it's good to know that there's a doc online who will answer questions from us. I'll be glad to post any questions to his forums if anyone wants me to.
