Guest guest Posted October 14, 2003 Report Share Posted October 14, 2003 I thought that I would share some of my experience.(Just for the record I'm 64yrs & fairly fit). 1st I had a vasectomy approx 32 years ago, and over the past 18 months have been have low T levels which have been increased with injectioning once a fortnight & recently switching to implants. But the main result of the injections over the last 18 months was my testicals shrinking, penis growing, and breast growth (I wear a 42B bra all the time now, for comfort) It was June last year when I became aware that I was developing " Boobs " . If you read the information sheet inserted with the medication they do warn of the possible side effects Accepting the " Boobs " probably has been my biggest hurdle so far. I had a vasectomy 32yrs ago myself -- I developed Prostatitis in my early 40's and my back got worse (4 ruptured discs) and sexual virility has gone down hill since - I had recurring Prostatitis until about 3yrs ago - it stopped and who knows why. It is enlarged now. Over the years my impotency got worse -- I use the dual mix with the big needle and that didn't work - they switched me to Trimix with a small needle and that worked super -- I came down with the shakes and my wife did NOT want to give me a shot in my penis. Last month I had my Free Testosterone and I was .2 above the Federal Guidelines, so my Family Doc doesn't want to do anything about it. Overall he is a great doctor for me. Over the years my breasts have gotten bigger - I refused to wear a Bra -- at the peak of my weight I was a 46C1/2,however, my boobs didn't grow out pointed. now I am a 44B1/2. I don't have much breast hair - my left one is smaller and doesn't have very much breast hair. My Penis has shrunk over the years ----- sometimes an 1 1/2inches - if I get a full erection (usually only a tumescent) my penis goes anywhere from 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 inches - I am not a length freak LOL - I am an armchair scientist so I like to study things and figure out what is going on in my body. With my testicles they have gotten bigger and my testical sac got bigger also. So many things that are wrong -- this is howcome I joined this group to see if Hypogonadism is my problem.
