Guest guest
Hello - E2 of 39 isn't that high but I guess that depends on when you were tested seeing how you're on shots. Based on my brief (2 weeks) experience with Arimidex, I'd suggest trying something else first – DIM, etc. DIM doesn't work for everyone but can help the liver's metabolism to get rid of excess toxins & estrogens. I have a bad libido problem and Arimidex hasn't helped the cause at all. So far on a small dose (.25 mg every 3 days) it's caused some brain fog and lack of sensitivity as well. Bit it has worked great for Phil once he figured out the dosing. Dave K. > I have seen quite a few posts regarding DIM. I have read 's primer > articles. > > I have been on TRT for nearly 1 year. Guest guest
I just ordered some DIM to try we'll see what happens. I think I will try a 50 mg or 25 mg dose first. Prob 50 and adjust down if needed. I am primary and on 5g of AndroGel daily. Getting a lot of mental fatigue, skin problems, still some desire problems, and lack of energy. I'll keep you posted. > > I have seen quite a few posts regarding DIM. I have read 's > primer > > articles. > > > > I have been on TRT for nearly 1 year. I have consistent erection > problems. Guest guest
I couldn't hold my horses and ordered the stuff from the place in the article: www.bioresponse.com. Will that not work? Guest guest
If you are primary, on 5g a day and feeling like crap, then it is likely you need an increased dose, rather than looking at Estrogen, unless E2 is elevated of course. Guest guest
Thanks. I will follow your dosages and see how it goes. Then get E2 measured in two to three weeks 5 days after my shot and at the same time. Guest guest
Hi this is what you have. http://store./vitanet/dim120tasona.html DIM 120 Tabs Source Naturals Description: Dim is an indole phytochemical that is a natural metabolic of compounds found in crucieferous vegetables such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts and cabbage. In animal and in-vitro studies. DIM has been shown to lead to the preferential formation of estrogen, and cervical tissues. This unique property sets DIM apart from other plant nutrients. Source Naturals DIM is combined with phosphatidyl choline, vitamin E and bioperine for enhanced absorption. Directions: 1-4 tablets per day with meals, or as recommended. by your health care professional. This is what I tried and it did not work. http://search.store./cgi-bin/nsearch?query=dim & first=10 & only=0 & categ=al\ l & catalog=vitanet DIM-Plus, 120 Tablets, Nature's Way Addresses Key Consumer Needs: *Promotes healthy estrogen metabolism. *Relieves PMS symptoms. *Promotes fat loss. *Supports breast, cervical, uterine and prostate health. Benefits of DIM-plus: DIM-plus contains diindolylmethant, a phytonutrient found in cruciferous vegetables including broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower and kale. Unlike other plant nutrients such as soy isoflavones, diindolylmethant has unique hormonal benefits. It supports the activity of enzymes that improve estrogen metabolism. Scientific research shows diindolylmethane increases the level of " good " estrogens (2-hydroxyestrogen) while reducing the level of " bad " estrogens (16-hydroxyestrogen). The DIM-plus Difference: Patented Complex: DIM-plus contains BioResponse-DIM and its patented, enhanced bioavailability delivery system for diindolylmethant. Enhanced Absorption: The bioavailability of DIM-plus is superior to regular diindolymethane and its unstable precursor, indole-3 carbinol (l3C). With DIM-plus you are assured a stabilized dose and consistent benefit from each capsule. Extra Cruciferous Vegetables: DIM-plus also contains the unique Protectamins cruciferous vegetable blend (spinach, cabbage and concentrated broccoli powders) for added phytonutrients. Serving Size 2 Capsules Amount Per Serving - Daily Value % Vitamin E - 9 IU - 30% (as d-alpha tocopheryl succinate) BioResponse-DIM complex - 100 mg (patented, enhanced bioavailability complex containing 25% diindolylmethane) starch, diindolylmethane, natural vitamin E, phosphatidylcholine, silica Protectamins - 100 mg spinach powder, cabbage powder, concentrated broccoli powder Other Ingredients: Cellulose, Gelatin, chlorophyll. Recommended Dose: (Women): Take two capsules daily with food. (Men): Take two capsules twice daily with food. For Intensive Use: (Women & Men): Take up to double the recommended dose What is diindolylmethane, and what are its benefits? Diindolylmethane is an indole plant nutrient found in cruciferous vegetables including broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts and cauliflower. Yet unlike other plant nutrients such as soy isoflavones, diindolylmethane has unique and distinct hormonal benefits. It supports the activity of specific enzymes that improve estrogen metabolism. Scientific research shows diindoly]methane increases the level of “good” estrogens (2-hydroxyestrogcn) while reducing the level of “bad” estrogens (16-hydroxyestrogen). The health benefits of “enhanced absorption” diindolylmethanc are four-fold: 1. promotes healthy estrogen metabolism. * 2. relieves PMS symptoms.* 3. promotes fat loss. * 4. supports healthy breast, cervical, uterine and prostate tissues.* Why enhanced absorption? Diindolylmethane is normally insoluble in water and fats, making it poorly absorbed by the body. But when combined with vitamin E and phosphatidylcholine, then micro & shy;encapsulated, diindolylmethane becomes bioavailable. Nature’s Way DIM-plus™ is a unique formula containing the patented, “enhanced absorption” form of diindolylmethane developed by A. Zeligs, M.D. how is diindolylmethane different than indole-3-carbinol? Indole-3-carbinol (13C) is the unstable and inactive precursor to diindolyl & shy;methane. 13C first has to be converted into diindolylmethane while in the digestive tract in order to become active. The degree of conversion can vary significantly depending upon each individual’s stomach acid pH level, diet and other physiological factors. Just how much diindolylmethane you’re getting from 13C is unpredictable. But with Nature’s Way DIM-plus™, you are assured a consistent dose of diindolylmethane with each and every capsule. Why not just eat more cruciferous vegetables? To get the same health benefit as two capsules of Nature’s Way DIM-plus™ you would have to eat nearly two pounds of raw or lightly cooked broccoli. For many people, broccoli is delicious, but try to eat that amount consistently everyday! What is the proper dose of DIM-plus™? In his paperback book, All About DIM (Avery, 2000), Dr. Zeligs recommends women take 100 to 200 mg of “enhanced absorption~~ diindolylmethane daily. For fat loss he notes a daily dose of 300 mg was helpful as part of an overall weight management program. Men, however, should take up to 400 mg per day when they are engaged in exercise training programs. With Nature’s Way DIM-plus™ it’s easy to match Dr. Zeligs’ recommended dosage as each serving contains 100 mg of “enhanced absorption” diindoly]methane, plus an additional 100 mg of Protectamins© cruciferous vegetable blend. about Zeligs, M.D. Dr. Zeligs graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and received his postgraduate medical training from the University of California, Irvine, College of Medicine. His research interests include nutrition and promoting healthy aging. And this is what uses. Are you sure you have the right stuff. Guest guest
SOURCE NATURALS DIM SN1520 1 5.93 (Diindolylmethane) 100 mg 30 tabs I purchased from Vitaglo.com - if you have not used them before they seem to be pretty decent. I order my Beverly Internation protein from them usually. > > > > > > I have seen quite a few posts regarding DIM.
