Hi,

You already know this from the symptoms, but a T test now would probably

come back lower than your pre-HRT level. Probably low out of reference

range. What happened is the supplemental T shut down natural T production.

The change in dosage has done two things: essentually cut your T 67%, and

spread the frequency so far apart you'll have peaks and valleys. (My

immediate thought is to go to 100mg every 10 days, That would keep levels a

little more even, but the total dose is still too low.

Some folks here have dealt with the high red blood cell issue, I'm sure

someone will chime in. There are two groups of old posts back in July, search

the archives with keyword " elevated " or " donate " . Hopefully there's a way to

handle that so you can get back on a decent T dose.

some here have suggested giving blood helps with the high hematocrit

from T therapy.

Bruce,

Thanks for the concern please read the repy to Phil.I may try a new

doc. It's been three 21 day cycles and I do feel a little better but

still castrated(joke).Would like to try 200mg every 10 days.An asprin

every day seems to be helping the red blood cell count.Doc hasn't

mentioned donating blood but I will.He did say he wants me to feel

good but not too good????

Good on yer, gpatr,

I hope you got to check out some high red blood cell postings & suggestions

by our recently departed mentor Or Eon. Search archives with keyword

" elevated " back into early July.
