Hi, when i had all that hair growing on my face and stuff, i was told to you

surgi cream. It is at the drug store, it will remove the hair and feels so

smooth. also i have been wearing a copper braclet now for over a month and

it has done wonders for the joint and bone pains, plus i take celebrex.

before celebrex just did not seem to work as good. I ve also found out that

stress does bring those pains on stronger.

Dear Fellow Women with Facial Hair,

I have been plagued with this problem for many years. My tweezers and

magnifying mirror have been in use daily.

Last fall, I got the prescription cream Vaniqua, and I can testify that it

really helps slow the growth of unwanted vacial hair. I bought a 3 month

supply for $110.00 from drugstore.com. I bought it in September, and I have

only gone through about half of it. So, at that rate, I would say it costs

about $15-$20 bucks a month.

I find myself plucking once or twice a week to maintain a smooth face.

I don't feel self conscious about that aspect of my appearance anymore.

I sound like a commercial, don't I?

Hope this info helps someone.

Love,

I'm new to all this Hypogonadism info. I'm 35, have very little

facial hair, a bit of fat around the mid-section, and relatively low

muscle mass. I just had my t level checked and it was just under 250.

My question is, with TRT is it still possible to acheive normal

facial hair growth at 35 years old, or have I already missed that boat.

Avejoe:

I started everything at age 29. What a change. Going thru the changes at that

age. I've been on testosterone shots since 1981. I wish doctors knew what was

wrong when I first asked at age 12.

Age 35....you are never too late.

When my T levels were very low like yours my face hair was very fine when I went

on TRT now I need to shave 2 times a day. Have you read the AACE Guildlines we

have it in the links section read it.

AvgJoe,

I already had significant facial hair and body hair before starting on

TRT. After starting TRT my facial hair stayed about the same, but my

body hair increased even more. However, my low T (levels in the 100s)

was acquired starting at age 19 by disease. Do you think you've had

low T all your life?

I'm pretty sure I've had low T all my life. I was never tested when I

was younger, but I never did have any kind of growth spurt either.

After reading the AACE guidelines on the links section,I seem to have

many symptoms of Klinefelter's syndrome.
