I'm not sure which one you mean. I have a basic Endocrinology text :

Basic and Clinical Endocrinology by Greenspan and Baxter

And another " Male Hypogonadism " a collection of articles edited by

Winters published by Humana press.

Hi Retro,

You mentioned you had a book which talked about how high levels of

estrogen can cause thyroid problems.

Was that the Endocrinology text :

Basic and Clinical Endocrinology by Greenspan and Baxter

I have a 4th Edition of that book. On page 175 it says :

" Thyroid hormones cause a slow depletion of pituitary TRH receptors,

diminishing TRH response; estrogen increases TRH receptors, increasing

pituitary sensitivity to TRH. "

what that translates to in health terms and feelings of fitness, etc.

I am unsure.

I'd say it means even a male needs a little estrogen.

I'd say it means a male needs a little estrogen

for this purpose.
