Guest guest
My wife's levels: Testosterone Total 9 premenopausal 15-70 postmenopausal 5-51 Testosterone Free 1.9 pg/ml premenopausal 1.0-8.5 postmenopausal 0.6-6.7 Testosterone % free 2.11 premenopausal 0.5-1.8 postmenopausal 0.8-1.9 She takes a 3mg pill that dissolves in her mouth each day. It has made a very real change for her, all good. One very important item i found in researching this is that women that have had a hysterectomy no longer produce testosterone, or very little, and should be on TRT right after the surgery. Most doctors don't know this. Her levels are at 12, she should be on TRT, a cream or a pill each day, women should not take any long lasting or long acting testosterone, as they do not want to levels to come up and stay to high for too long. My wife has tried some of my TRT cream and she was in heaven, it is 200mg/ml cream, it is fine too do that once in a while, it turns her into a sex crazed freak. > Guys, > > I remember someone here talking about this - they said that their wife > was helped greatly when she was put on testosterone. > > The reason i'm asking is that there is a woman in my CFS support group > who may have low T. Guest guest
Hi, Wife was taking oral meds for menopause and getting no relief. When she kept complaining about no help he told her she was a mental case and to see a psychiatrist. He did not take any blood tests to findout her liver was not metabolizing the oral hormone. She suffered for more than a year before a friend found a newspaper article about another women that also could not metabolize the oral meds and went to hormone pellets from a specialist. Got my wife back and in the process she also received the other vital hormone, testosterone, as a pellet as well. She got both estrogen and testosterone to give her the normal balance between these 2. That was in 1991 and she also enjoyed an interest in sex during this period while others suffering with normal HRT only received estrogen. Providing this balance between the both hormones is becoming more common now. Every 4 months we go to Augusta GA to see Dr. Gambrell and it costs about $250 - 3 times a year for her hormone therapy. His web site is: http://www.members.aol.com/gambr999/ ernestnolan > Guys, > > I remember someone here talking about this - they said that their wife > was helped greatly when she was put on testosterone. > > The reason i'm asking is that there is a woman in my CFS support group > who may have low T.
