Guest guest
Just to update everyone I got my E2 Estradiol to low so I stopped taking it for 5 weeks. A test over a month ago showed my levels up to 48 from <20. So I started back on it taking .5 mgs. every 10 days. I have a blood test and seen the Dr. last week but the E2 test was not back. I was due to take a .5 Arimidex last Fri. and did Not more then 6 hrs. later I was feeling very fatigued worst then ever and last night I lost my libido and was unable to have sex. This morning I am breaking out in sweats and very fatigued. I don't think I can take this med. This morning I did not take the Zinc I have been taking daily 50 mgs. My be there is something other then Arimidex that I can take. Phil
Guest guest
Recently, I started having difficulty getting and keeping erections despite using Androgel and Viagra. After reading some of the messages on this board that too low of E2 could adversly affect getting erections, I decided to cut out my zinc supplements and within about a week, my erections returned to about the level they had been previously. I cannot account for anything else that would have caused this. Unfortunately, I have had no blood tests to confirm this. But I do believe that all that zinc I have been taking was starting to have a negative effect on my efforts to repair my ED. > Just to update everyone I got my E2 Estradiol to low so I stopped > taking it for 5 weeks. IMO, the reason you keep crashing is because you're overdosing on Arimidex. It has nothing to do with Zinc. As far as an anti-aromatase, Arimidex is about 100 times more powerful than Zinc. However, Zinc serves many other functions. Zinc plays important roles in supporting the pituitary, the prostate and T function. Why do you keep taking 0.5 mg at a time? From what I can see, that's way too high a dosage for you to take at one time. > ...and noticed the the ringing in my ears is gone. I get that (ringing in the ears) when my T is over the top of the range (i.e., supraphysiologic).
Guest guest
Thanks I told my Dr. about lowing the dose but he wants to wait and see the blood test Quest is now over 2 weeks in getting my E2 result back. I called my Dr. today and they said they are having trouble with Quest and getting my test back. To many people have probelms with Quest I am going back to my old lab even if the E2 only goes down to <20 anything under 25 is to low anyway.
