Guest guest
Hi, Pellets come from many different suppliers. They are called compounding pharmacies. Yes they last 4 months typically and men get about 1 pellet for every 10 pounds of body wieght after they subtract 30 pounds. Pellet size is 75mg where I get mine but others make a 200 mg pellet which means fewer under the skin below the belt. The TROCAR is a hollow tube with a sharp chisel tip that pierces the skin and the pellets slide down the tub and get shoved out the end with a rod that fits the tube. Some doctors move the trocar between the first 10 and the second 10 but others just reload and shove. It is uncomfortable but not painful for the first few days but a week later the discomfort is gone. One supplier is: Bardani Bartor Pharmcl 70 High St. Rye, New York 10580-1506 914-967-4219 Dr. R. Don Gambrell of Augusta GA has trained several doctors in the use of the trocar. It does take some skill and training to know where it is safe to plunge the trocar. ernestnolan There is a sister company that makes the estrogen pellets for women. > My understanding is that these implanted in the butt pellets last > about four months and are the prefereable even slow dosing delivery > system, and perhaps the best because of this for combating the > testosterone turning into estrogen. Any sense how the pain compares to a bad T shot? Mine tended to knot up terribly. With the previous site often knotting up again with the higher T levels circulating again. Odd. >One supplier is: > > Bardani > Bartor Pharmcl > 70 High St. > Rye, New York 10580-1506 > 914-967-4219 > >Dr. R. Don Gambrell of Augusta GA has trained several doctors in the >use of the trocar. It wouldn't sound so harsh perhaps except for the " plunge " word choice. ;->
Guest guest
Hi, Pain is not enough to make sleep a problem. It is just tender to the touch but does not ache. PLUNGE......There was a flare for the theatrical there. It is the worst part of the whole procedure. My skin is like horse leather and the doctor says it is the worst of all his patients as he has to really work to force the very sharp tool through to the fatty layer below. It is numb and only the pushing is noticed. The tool stays in for about 2-3 minutes while the tube is loaded twice. In Augusta GA most of the $450 expense for everything is paid by medicare but not so in other parts of the country. ernestnolan > > >t is uncomfortable but not painful for > >the first few days but a week later the discomfort is gone. > > Any sense how the pain compares to a bad T shot? Guest guest
I see there are a ton of other responses but I'll put my input in. The pellets my doctor uses for me are from Kronos Pharmacy in Las Vegas. They make them in either 75 mg or 100 mg versions. I have the 100's in me. > My understanding is that these implanted in the butt pellets last > about four months and are the prefereable even slow dosing delivery > system, and perhaps the best because of this for combating the > testosterone turning into estrogen.
