Guest guest
I seem to remember hearing that Shippen got really interested in TRT when he himself found he needed it. Did I hear correctly? Is Shippen on TRT? If so, what regimine I wonder. Armyguy
Guest guest
I know that my Dr. is his own lab rat. He tests all of his protocols on himself. > You would think there would be alot of Dr's specializing in it since > it affects so many people a good amount of Dr's must also have the > problem > > > > I seem to remember hearing that Shippen got really interested in > TRT > > when he himself found he needed it. Shippen is like an encyclopedia of medical studies about heart health, etc. He's by far the most competent, well rounded doctor I've ever worked with. His knowledge is very broad and certainly not limited to TRT alone. His TRT protocols have changed over the years as his methods have evolved. For a long time he favored gels & pellets over IM shots because of the more consistent delivery of T which minimizes aromatization. As some folks here have noted, he's recently added SQ shots to his repertoire. -
Guest guest
Hi- If you're looking specificly for T modulation (and you don't have non-hormonal urologic issues), a urologist might not be the right specialist. One would think an endocrinologist would be in the right specialty, but too many of them don't know T modulation. Call around until you find someone who does hormone therapy as part of his/her regular clinical practice (regardless of " official " specialty). IMO you want to find out the doctor knows the treatments BEFORE the first visit, and if you find him, odds are you'll get an appointment sooner than Sept. Good luck, Bruce > You would think there would be alot of Dr's specializing in it since > it affects so many people a good amount of Dr's must also have the > problem > > > > I seem to remember hearing that Shippen got really interested in > TRT > > when he himself found he needed it. Guest guest
Bruce, Thanks - unfortunately that is way too far away from me to be practical. If anyone has any personal experience with docs near Chicago I'd love to hear about it.
