Guest guest
Mfb, how old are you? What was your Clomid dose and for how long? I am 45 and also used propecia. I tried 3 times to start myself using Clomid and failed . If while on Clomid (25mg/day for 6 weeks) my T/E2/LH was 1300/38/11, then 1 week after stopping 800/32/3.9, 5 weeks after 260/24/.9, 10 weeks -212/24/3.5 > I stopped Arimidex last week, I didn't have the T boost that some > claim it gives. Guest guest
Before Clomid my T was around 220. When I was on 12.5mg/day, my T/E was nearly perfect 960/28, but I did not feel very good, about every other day I had waves of extreme fatigue, when I could barely get up from a chair, way worse then with low T. Now I am on 12.5mg/eod, and still feel the same, I am Ok 2-3 day, then a day when I can barely drug thru the day. It's been going on for such a long time that I already forgot how it feels 'to feel good'! And I am very fit, athletic and otherwise healthy. Btw, hCG makes me feel same as Clomid. I've been thru many MD, none was able to tell anything intelligent, so until I find a good doctor, I am self medicating. > > > I stopped Arimidex last week, I didn't have the T boost that some > > > claim it gives. Guest guest
Critical to keep your estradiol in check with those drugs. Make sure and monitor it closely. High estradiol, or even high free estradiol is enough to completely wipe out the positive results. > > > > I stopped Arimidex last week, I didn't have the T boost that > some > > > > claim it gives. Guest guest
I guess, my last email got lost, so here it is again. How about E2? Guest guest
3 weeks to wait for an appt isn't bad compared to what we have to put thru in Canada. We have a free health care system, but it could take 4 months just to see a specialist and almost 2 monts in between each appointment. I nearly went insane waiting for doctors, and when I got there they weren't too helpfull. > > > > > > > I stopped Arimidex last week, I didn't have the T boost > > that > > > > some > > > > > > > claim it gives. Guest guest
I started Clomid treatment couple of weeks ago with 12.5mg/day. Before starting clomid my T was ~240 and FH and LH were around ~3. I am going to get blood test done in another 2 weeks to see if it has helped any. I have some questions about your clomid treatment -- there was one post that mentioned about dosage in " eod " . What is it ? -- What is the best time of the day to take Clomid ? Does it matter if taken with food or without ? My doctor has not given any such guidelines. -- If clomid stimulation works and T level goes up. Do they stay up there once you stop Clomid or is it a lifelong therapy (assuming if it works!) ? If clomid doesn't work for me then my doctor may prescribe hCG. -Mike > > > > > > I stopped Arimidex last week, I didn't have the T boost > that > > > some > > > > > > claim it gives. Guest guest
lowtsufferer3, 1. eod - every other day. 2. I do not know what's teh best time, but I take mine at night 3. If Clomid does not work for you, IMO hCG will not either, since they both stimulate(Clomid) or simulate(hCG) LH . > > > > > > > I stopped Arimidex last week, I didn't have the T boost > > that > > > > some > > > > > > > claim it gives. Guest guest
Do a google search for DEXA scan. They will scan your back and your hips. It is very easy. You lay on a table and the machine moves over your lower body. If the machine uses X-rays then they can't be powerful because the lab tech wasn't nervous and she was sitting right next to me. Also, I don't believe they dressed me with any lead. I asked my orthopeadic Dr. for one. Guest guest
Is clomid appropriate to try for me? I have extremely low T (117 at last check) and almost zero LH and FSH. My estradiol was listed at <32. Prolactin was normal according to the doc. I see the endo again on Friday, so I want to have all my ducks in a row. Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Mark, I think by the sounds of it, if you low LH and FSH, it does seem like you would be secondary. In that case clomid maybe worth a try. How long have you had low T for? > Is clomid appropriate to try for me? I have extremely low T (117 at > last check) and almost zero LH and FSH.
