Guest guest
I have been following this website for quite a while now and can see you have very helful info and people on this site, that could provide me the right information. To give you some background, I'm 57yrs old, 152lbs, 5'4 " and try to stay trim and fit. After 3 years of complaining to my doctor that something was wrong with my sexual function he finally listened to me and about 2 and half months ago put me on Androgel 5Mg. Based on my symptoms he said I was a good candidate. My T-level at that time was 236. After 1 month of use on Androgel 5mg, I met with my doctor again and after the results of a second blood test he put me on Androgel 10mg. Sorry, I don't have the results from my last blood test to discuss except I know my T- level had only gone up to 247. He stated to try this for another month and then take another blood test and we will discuss the results. I am scheduled to take this blood test on saturday. Here are the tests he is asking for: Total/Free Test, Estradiol(E2), FSH, LH, PSA, TSH and Hepatic Function panel. Since I have been on this gel, I have had occasional nipple tingling but, no signs of gyno. I have not seen any fat loss, muscle/strength increase or as my doctor put it, the sexual hormones of a 21 yr old. But, what I do see from a sexual issue is, my orgasm/sensation/ejaulation has deminished in a big way, my gonads seem to be slightly smaller and sometimes I can't even finish, I go soft after just a few minutes. This has me really upset because it seems to be getting worse over the past 6 months. Based on the results of these tests, if any of my levels or any other factor are not within optimal ranges, then I am asking the doctor what alternative/treatment/theraphy can be done. Is this a good start or should I be doing something more? I appreciate any assistance or guidance from any of you that can help me in this matter. Thanks to all, Guy
