What about progesterone in men. What evidence is there that it is needed and

what replacement levels do we know about.

Men need progesterone, too. It is an aromatase and 5-alpha reducatase

inhibitor. Of course, the levels are less - replacement is usually 2-10mg

transdermally.

Any chance you can point me to a source on this last bit?

My wife is considering HRT including T but is concerned about all the

recent talk of added health risks.

All i can say is great things about HRT with Testosterone for my wife. Along

with Thyroid

and HGH she has come a long way. No more headaches at all, this is major. Normal

periods, not the bloating, pain, heavy flow for days, anymore, energy level is

way up. She

use to crawl out of bed, could not walk on her feet in the morning, no more, she

is up and

about now. She has lost 20+ pounds, is going to the gym. Can't say enough about

it.
