Harry,

My thoughts: E2 <20 is too low, but that & Arimidex shouldn't lower T.

Aromatase inhibition should raise T.

It's more likely that your TRT delivery method has somehow stopped working.

So your T is down, and with less T to convert to estrogens, so is your E2.

Didn't you switch from Androgel to Testim a couple of months back? Could

that be the problem?

Hey guys -

I am new to the concept of Arimidex. How does it lower your T?

  • 8 months later...

Try 1/4 every other day for two weeks and get a blood

test to check your level then adjust accordingly.

Also get a pill splitter.

This arimidex is a powerful drug! The first time I took it I took half a tablet

and felt great! Tons of energy, super strong sex drive. Had a hard on all

night long. (I had trouble sleeping and was aware that I had a raging hard on

most of the night.)

Took another half a tablet four days later and felt like total crap! Tired,

headachy, dragging around, felt slightly nauseous. All in all like a low grade

flu.

I waited 5 days and took another 1/2 tab (today) and feel like crap again. This

is a very powerful drug!

I can't imagine taking it more often.

, (or anyone) how do you feel when your E2 goes too low? Does my

description above ring true with your experience?

The reason I wanted to try arimidex was that I have the bright red flushing of

my skin on my neck and achy joints that sometimes are a sign that one's E2 is

too high.

These were the last numbers I rec'd prior to arimidex.

Total T 569 Range 241-827

SHBG 14 Range 7-50

Free T 197 Range 34-194

T Free and Weakly Bound 405 Range 84-402

Estradiol 34 Range 10-50

Estradiol free 0.71 Range 0.30-0.90

Estradiol % free 2.08 Range 1.66-2.11

RBC 5.31 Range 4.20-5.80
