It is easy to find out.

1. test LH and FSH, if in low of the range , you probably secondary.

2. Try Clomid or hCG for 3-4 weeks, if your T raises to acceptable levels -

you are secondary

Yeah, I actually asked the uro folks about testing LH, FSH, etc. but they

just said " we don't do that. " I think their practice is more procedure

oriented (TURPs, prostatectomies, cystoscopies, etc.) and they weren't

really into the hormonal deal.

Try Endocrinologist. I had to go outside my insurance, to find a doc who was

willing to

take seriously my low T. I do not know where you are, but I can give you a

couple of MDs

who is dealing with HH and do bussiness long distance

, but even when my T is around 1000 with free T out of the range, I

>still have no sex drive.

>

>

Right, I think sex drive is a poor subjective indicator of T level. I do

think it is one and for certain individuals it probably is an excellant one,

but is not the direct indicator that society thinks it is. One of the ways

that this plays out is that there are thousands of men out there with very

very low T but do nothing about it as long as their libido and erections are

okay, or they give up on taking T if it does not help them sexually. That

is a huge mistake in my view. T does so much more. And you will wake up

some day with osteoporosis, brain fog. depressed, and diminished

musculature as you age. It would be like a woman in her 20's thinking that

she never wants to have kids so doesnt care what her hormone levels are even

if they are at the rock bottom. She gonna be a mess physically over time.

Thanks. I'm in Maine. I don't know off-hand of any local experts in this

area. No one I've spoken to around here has mentioned any.
