Guest guest
Your t injections are what is causing the high estradiol. With high estradiol, it will be much more difficult to lose weight and you will not be getting nearly as much benefit from the testosterone. It would be very beneficial for your health to get your estradiol down with an anti aromatise like aromasin or arimidex. Armyguy > I had my 40 year old physical last week. Guest guest
It's almost the old " which came first, the chicken or the egg? " question.* Your E goes down if you're lower body fat, but you can't get lower body fat without lowering the E. Very frustrating. Maybe the doc would be receptive if you pushed a short term trial of anti aromatose to see if a healthy weight loss rate can be obtained. *- my theory on the chicken/egg thing: Something similar to a chicken laid an egg that had some slight genetic mutations in it, what hatched was the first chicken as we know it, so obviously, the egg came first. Guest guest
Steve, Ah, to be forty again... Are you taking T for lack of energy? I can't lose weight when I'm chairbound from low T. In your case it might be the high E2. I told a friend my doctor said I needed to lose weight. He replied: " you pay someone money to tell you that? " It's a vicious circle, hope you can break out of it. Good luck, Bruce > I had my 40 year old physical last week. Guest guest
On a side note. My E has never been this high. However, my body fat has not been this high in awhile. I don't have low energy or If I do I don't know it. I play sports several times a week. I rode my Mountain Bike yesterday for 45 minutes I've never felt fatigued to the point where it stopped me from playing softball. I'm taking T because if I don't my level will drop to below 200 in a month. I've been an avid weight lifter I've just been lazy the past 3 months. Guest guest
Hi, I'm also someone that is overweight. Sounds like the AA meeting where they all get up and admit they are alcholics. Exercise of the arobic type is best for as long each day for as long as you can. 30 - 45 minutes seems to be to get the most benefit. Metabolism is improved helping you loose weight and feel like you have some energy. Atkins book is good reading and most friends get off that diet but never go back to white bread, pasta, sugar or starchy vegetables. This really makes a difference to the potato and wheat farmers and probably to those avoiding them. They will eat some icecream now and then instead of mashed potatoes to get the same calories. Really surprised you haven't been put on one of the cholesterol drugs by now. Supposedly about 5% - 10% of the population can make a difference thru diet and exercise. They make you suffer the exposure to high cholesterol for another 6 months till they finally break down and let you have some medication for the risks they are running with your health. ernewstnolan > I had my 40 year old physical last week. He wanted me 40 lbs lighter and he was trying to keep me off of Cholesterol medicine. Steve
Guest guest
Get your estradiol in control with Arimidex or Aromasin, or neither problem will go away. Guest guest
Armyguy, Do you need to take anything for estradiol with your once a week shots? Thanks, Mark > Get your estradiol in control with Arimidex or Aromasin, or neither > problem will go away. > > Armyguy >
Guest guest
Yes, arimidex. No set schedule for it, I take it when I feel I need it. Guest guest
Call him and tell him you are having trouble sleeping and you have ED and you are very panicky and fatigued. None of these are true. I don't feel any different when my e is up or down. And that you feel that getting your E2 down and your T up you will be able to meet his 40 lbs. My T is over 1000 and If I eat right and exercise I can lose the weight. And then fire his ass. And find a Dr. that knows what the hell he is doing. My Doc usually does anything I ask. I don't want to fire him.
