Howdy Foggschool,

Yup..I have read about that particular species of wormword for dealing

with malaria..it is really promising and it sure would have to be

better than most of the current anti malarials they pump into you...I

had one prescribed after visiting a malarial area (they force you to

have it here, just so you do not bring malaria back into the country)

and the damn stuff had the most horrific side effects..it made yer

vision go like strobe lighting..so that you got all these zapping

black patches in front of your eyes...I tried to drive a car whilst

taking those pills..and I had to pull over, because I could not see.

Unfortunately the common wormword that grows in your garden (and in

mine) which has the pretty silvery leaves, is not the one they get the

anti malarial drug from..there are a whole lot of species of wormwood,

so you must make sure you use the right species..the garden one is the

one they make vermouth and absinthe out of (I think, but I could be

wrong) and it is pretty poisonous stuff in certain amounts.

And look at pyrethrum from the pyrethrum daisy..that is still the best

insecticide you can use..I always use pyrethrum fly spray, even though

it makes me gag and sneeze...but I know it is much safer than other

sorts.

I think you should join the healthfraud list yourself and see if you

think that is what folks on it do. I certainly have never seen anyone

poke fun at cancerer sufferers on that list..they may poke fun at

charlatans who con desperate cancer sufferers with snake oil

cures..but mostly they do not even poke fun at them...because it is

all too sad:(

Also..if you think I am here to pick up ammo to make fun of you on

that other list...joining that other list would be also be a good idea

from the point of view of checking that I don't..but whatever happened

to the notion of " innocent until proven guilty " ?;)

Also..a good reference of herbs (ones that are both safe and good for

you) is Tyler's Honest Herbal. I will go and check out more herbs from

the URL you posted..I have always been interested in herbs..culinary

and other ones.:)
