DTT is a more structured way of teaching skills. DTT breaks a skill down to help teach it. It's more intensive than incidental teaching. Incidental teaching is a way to help with generalization of the skills learned in DTT in the natural environment. It's important to incorporate both methodologies when including ABA as part of your child's treatment. DTT helps teach skills quickly with a high rate of motivation.
