DTT and incidental teaching are 2 types of methods that the sciene of ABA utilizes. DTT is a more structured way of teaching skills. DTT breaks a skill down to help teach it. It's more intensive than incidental teaching. Incidental teaching is a way to help with generalization of the skills learned in DTT in the natural environment. It's important to incorporate both methodologies when including ABA as part of your child's treatment. DTT helps teach skills quickly with a high rate of motivation. Incidental teaching helps with maintence and generalization of these skills. Robin autism wrote:

So far you can get Novarel 10,000 IU at _www.drugstore.com_

(http://www.drugstore.com) I just placed an order and wasn't told they

couldn't fill. Of

course you do need a prescription and it's mailed to your home.

I checked with several other pharmacies in my area. None of

them have HCG. Of course a couple of them had never even

heard of it. Walgreens had it on their website, but it was not

available in one of their stores. They said I might be able to

order it online. The Walmart pharmacist knew instantly that he

didn't have it and couldn't order it. A compounding pharmacy

which advertises that they specialize in hormone replacement

did not have any HCG and no suggestions for obtaining it.

Finally I called the outpatient pharmacy at the teaching hospital

where my endocrinologist works. The pharmacist there told me

that he had read an article in a trade journal about how there

was a shortage due to manufacturing problems. But he said

that he could not obtain it from his distributor and advised me to

just try " calling around " . I'm trying to locate a news article or FDA

order about this.
