Guest guest
It sounds like he could have Lyme disease. Go to www.lymenet.org and read some of the articles and the posts on the forum. There is also a section of the forum you can request the name of a Lyme Literate Doctor (LLMD) in your part of the country. It is difficult to find a doctor that will diagnose Lyme correctly. GE www.livingnow.net/gevans Anyone... My son contracted mononucleosis 4 1/2 years ago. He was 13 years old. It began with chest pain so intense we thought he was having heart attacks. It turned into pain throughout his whole body. The doctors prescribed every pain medication imaginable, and none of it had any positive effect upon the pain, including morphine and percodan,amitriptoline,neurontin... It began one day. Christmas eve. He has not recovered. He suffers with ongoing, daily headache and body pains and severe insomnia. I do mean " suffers " . The many specialists we have seen have been no help. Neurologists, Rheumatologist, Emergency Rooms, so many medications. His brain does not seem to be processing pain appropriately. So... anyone ever heard of such symptoms? No doctors we have seen have. They scratch their heads and say he won't die from it. I know he sometimes wishes otherwise. Acupuncture-no help, chiropractor- no help (though he " promised " a cure), prayer- no healing yet, at least that we can see. Elena --------------------------------- Ring'em or ping'em. Guest guest
Hi Elena: Since you tried all the conventional doctors stuff and it has not helped here it goes .. You must be the researcher and observer of his recovery. 1.- THINK! back to when he got sick the first time. Are you sure that was mono? Anyway think about what was going on at home, school, yard and neighborhood. Any sicknesses with relatives or friends, eat at some wierd or exotic places, trips to third world countries, chemical pesticide dumps close by or crops. Any sick animals. Somhow he was exposed to something that is still in him. Did he play somewhere or touch something.... there is also the posibility it could be psicosomatic. Did something happen to him, or to the family around that time... 2.- CLEAN! Clean all of his organs. Read about colon, liver, kidney and specially parasites and heavy metals etc. 3.- NOURISH! Make sure he eats clean (free of pesticidesa) vegies and fruit lots of them. 4.- DO WHAT IS RIGHT .. exercise, drink lots of good water, get sunshine, rest, play and work. 5.- KEEP TALKING TO PEOPLE .. someone will give you some good tips. good luck!
