I was diagnosed with PMDD about 5 years ago and went on meds. I decided

to stop taking the meds (similar to prozac) a couple months ago when I

began reading about side effects of meds taken long term. But now I

need something to help combat the PMDD. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Angie

Have you done any liver cleanses? I think you could rid yourself of

PMDD altogether if you 1) did the kidney, bowel, parasite and liver

cleanses & continued to do liver cleanses on a regular basis, and 2)

clean up your diet (no dairy, no wheat, no sugar, etc.).

For a natural mood stablizer, I would suggest Holy Basil. It's

wonderful.

The liver cleanses will change your life though.

Best of luck,

Lorna

Lorna,

Thank you. I'll look into the cleansing...I have a good resource

book. Now for another topic you touched upon...a diet with no dairy,

wheat or sugar.

My daughter needs to have chelation (lead poisoning from before we

adopted her), and the dr. has put her on a strict diet with no dairy

(except natural yogurt), no sugar and no carbs...I'm going crazy.

She's only 2 and I just don't know what to feed her. She's bored with

eggs and meat, and isn't ready for raw veggies...any ideas for meals

as well as snacks??

Thanks,

Angie

Hi Angie:

My 3 kids all suffer from heavy metal toxicity and all are on diets

that exclude gluten, dairy, soy, corn, preservatives and all other

artificial ingredients, food dyes. We are not carb free however. Why

does he/she want you completely carb free? Is it the Specific

Carbohydrate diet?

Are you giving her cooked veggies? I would just buy Cascadian Farms

organic veggies and cook those, rotating them as best you can.

Cauliflour, broccoli, celery, peppers, peas, beans (we dont eat them

because my daughter and I are allergic), asparagus tips, Carrots,

squash--are all choices. Do you know how to make spaghetti squash?

That can be fun for kids. I also use different kinds of meat like

buffalo, ostrich, lamb, turkey, liver & chicken--all organic too.

For snacks, my kids like cut up fruit or peppers, carrot stix or

celery. I also have a juicer and make them different juice drinks. You

could buy frozen (organic) fruit and make her smoothies particularly

with that yogurt. That might be nice for her.

A great product for lead chelation is " Beyond Clean " which is a powder

you toss into the bath water. Chelation of lead is greatly achieved

through the skin. Here is a link:

http://www.longevityplus.com/store/product.php?productid=449. I use a

water filter for the tub too. I use the Beyond Clean with epsom salts

or apple cider vinegar.

If you dont have the books to help you with the cleanses, some

are in the files section or you can go here for a quickie reference:

http://www.drhuldaclark.org/.

Best of luck to you and your daughter!

Lorna

**I have no financial interest in any of the products mentioned.

I am cirious, what is the purpose of putting you daughter in a strict no-carb

diet? It shouldn't have anything to do with lead poisoning or any procedure to

get rid off it.

My daughter is on a probiotic to help get rid of the bad bacteria and

replace it with the good. She basically had 0 good bacteria. I was

told that if the chelation is to work, the good bacteria must be in

place so that when the lead is being " escorted " out of her body, it

won't be reabsorbed into her system.

If she eats too many carbs, which turn to sugar, this can " feed " the

bad bacteria and make it more difficult to get rid of it.

Hi list,

All those who are contaminated with heavy metals, I'd suggest you take a look at

FRESH CILANTRO. I recommend to use cilantro in spreads ( like butter) There is a

recipe somewhere for cilantro spread but you can do one blending it with olive

or coconut oil. You can also it liberally as a condiment. The more the better

but start with small portions and increase gradually.

Cilantro has an impressive record of removal of heavy metals (including from

brain tissue)

If you want to potentiate it use Chorella and Wild Bear Garlic. This is the

protocol used in Germany for years. It is very safe and effective.

Of course you know to cleanse the colon and the liver-gallbladder befrore

attempting the HM detx. Drink 1/2 gallon of water(not liquids, water!) a day and

make sure you move your bowels at least once daily, otherwise help it along with

fiber and magnesium.

I have used the cilantro alone a few times and the German protocol dozens of

times and corroborated the results with hair analysis and in one degree or

another always works.

I gave my mother high doses of zeolite and a product called Triotein. I finally

took her to get checked for heavy metals and there were virtually none. But she

still had lots of chemicals in her body. Destroxin is suppose to be a good

product. It's cheaper than natual cellular defense zeolite (maybe better), but

it's in a powdered form.

You can't do better than to check out Empowerplus. Go to

http://search.netscape.com/ns/search?fromPage=NSCPToolbarNS & query=empowerplus

The site says, in part, " EMPowerplus is now being used for conditions

including Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Depression etc..

EMPowerplus is manufactured by Truehope Nutritional Support Ltd., a

Canadian non-profit health organization. "

I know the guys who manufacture the stuff. Very legit.

  • 2 years later...

Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) is a condition marked by severe

depression symptoms, irritability, and tension before menstruation. These

symptoms are more severe than those seen with premenstrual syndrome PMS.

SORRY!! I didn't realize I didn't specify what that was. ;) As previously

stated, it's Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (or crazy, wacked-out, intense PMS

WAY beyond reason) lol
