Guest guest
Dear , Aren't you the same young guy I've seen on the ozone therapies list (or maybe it was the oxyplus list) and the colloidal silver list? Same kind of litany of symptoms? Are you trying to get help, or trying to gather information about those lists? Jan Bolen " ..: )::.. " <ombass@...> wrote: Greetings... I am on what appears to be an eternal quest to figure out what exactly is going on in my body, and how to fix it. For 7 years I have bobbed around from Dr. to Dr. and from diagnosis to diagnosis (all of which ended up being incomplete), ultimately leaving me on my own to figure things out. The closest thing I can come to is either Fibromyalgia / Chronic Fatigue, or Myofascial Pain Syndrome, Candida, and ??? Seems like I may have a lot of different things going on, but I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY MY BODY JUST WONT **HEAL** LIKE IT IS SUPPOSED TO!!!! :-( Can anyone please help to cut through the fog of confusion and suffering? I am only 30 years old, and have been suffering for too long!! I am SO TIRED of Drs not knowing what to tell me, cramming a million pills in my face, and taking all my money and in return getting nothing besides frustration and side effects. Overall it seems as if my immune system is essentially just not functioning. My body should have healed by now. I am only 30. It feels like something SYSTEMIC is sapping my energy and hampering my immune system... BUT WHAT IS IT!?!?!?!?!? Here's what is going on with me: MUSCLE PAIN / WEAKNESS: My muscles hurt when I use them, specifically my shoulders, neck and arms. And I am talking about light use - like reading some magazines or driving for 30 min. I was in some fairly severe rear-ending car accidents in my earlier years, so theoretically this could be causing some of my muscle pain/weakness all these years later? Myofascial Pain Syndrome? Fibromyalgia? ENERGY: My energy levels are also at an all time low - it is as if my " chi " or life force is just COMPLETELY DRAINED. Hard to describe, but my " life energy " feels like it is not even there at all. No excitement, no happiness, no creative drive, no ANYTHING. I feel like a walking husk, like everything has just gone flat line. Is this what Chronic Fatigue feels like? ANXIETY: I have a LOT of anxiety that appears to come from a biochemical / biological level. In other words, I don't get all worked up about something and thus experience anxiety. Quite the opposite: it's a nice day, I am in a good mood, yet I have twisting, nervous anxiety running through my system. Frustrating and hard to deal with to say the least. LIBIDO: My libido has never been so low in my life - it as if it is non-existent. BRAIN FOG: When I eat sugars or alcohol, I get the dreaded brain fog that Candida and Fibromyalgia sufferers experience. This leads me to think that I have Candida at a bare minimum. DARK CIRCLES UNDER EYES: These vary in intensity, but are always there to the point that people often comment with things like " wow, you look tired! " or " wow, you look terrible! Get some sleep! " etc etc etc. and it is not only very frustrating, but also very embarrassing and self-esteem sapping. WHEAT SENSITIVITY: When I eat wheat (like the amount in an order of tempura shrimp), I get upper extremity muscle pain, and very uncomfortable anxiety that almost seems to come from a nervous system level. Hard to explain but it as if someone is sticking a fork in my whole nervous system and just twisting. Very uncomfortable, and usually is accompanied by stomach upset/nausea. ALLERGIES / CHEMICAL SENSITIVITIES: I am sensitive to many fragrances, detergents, etc so avoid all those, but also have problems with dust mites, diesel smoke, etc. If I eat food that was wrapped in certain types of Saran (PVC) wrap, I break out in hives. This was recently discovered to be a sensitivity to phthalates which are chemicals put into some plastics to soften them. See http://www.calisafe.org/_disc1/00000066.htm and http://www.jobwerx.com/news/Archives/plastics_biz-id=947140_529.html for more info on phthalates. _jason_ _________ ________ _______ _____ ____ ___ __ _ _ _

Guest guest
So , What are you doing to help your body heal? Have you done major diet changes, do you take supplements, have you done any cleansing? The body is totally amazing and can do many things but not if we don't help it. I was sick for years, sounded a bit like you. The thing it took me years to finally figure out is that I was not helping myself get well by the diet I was eating and I had toxins backing up in my intestines due to poor bowel function. When I got serious about cleaning bowels, and started to support every system of my body then it was amazing to see how good I started to feel. My mysterious diagnosis turned out to be lyme disease, at least that is what Iam convinced of. Thought is was MS for quite a long time, they get those 2 mixed up. YOu definately need to balance your immune system and eliminate the candida. Those 2 things alone can have a huge impact. There are just too many diseases for your doctors to figure things out these days, you are not alone. My husband suffered for years and almost died from drugs and that is when we decided that it was our bodies and we needed to do someething about it. We both had late stage lyme, very hard to DX. So I don't know what you may already be doing to support your body, but if you want ideas just let me know. ...: )::.. wrote: > Greetings... > I am on what appears to be an eternal quest to figure out what exactly is > going on in my body, and how to fix it. Guest guest
You may want to chew a few cloves of fresh garlic a day. Again it has worked in this household. It takes a little getting use to, but has worked. We been chewing the fresh clove of garlic every 4 to 6 hours to start out with. Now down to one or two cloves a day. Guest guest
, Sounds like mercury poisoning. Many people have recovered using chelation therapy. I am treating my son who has some of the exact same symptoms which were caused by childhood vaccines. We have had great success with zapping, cleanses as well as changing the water we drink and using a Far-infared sauna with chelation. Immune system boosters may help as well. We use Transfer Factor. Changing your environment helps as well. Getting rid of any household toxins as well as trying to avoid them in the environment. Where you work as well as where you live could also be making you sick. Another thing, have you tried Chiropractic care? It has also helped our family tremendously. Guest guest
Dear , You might want to find a doctor who can diagnose Lyme Disease. I, too, have been ill for many years and have many of the same symptoms you have. I don't know yet whether or not I have Lyme Disease but am starting to take steps to find out (like trying a new doctor, out-of-state, next month). For the last month I have been reading about Lyme Disease on the internet and have joined a couple email groups on Lyme. You might want to check this out. I have learned that in recent years many doctors believe Lyme Disease is behind many chronic illnesses. My symptoms - please help! Greetings... Guest guest
I agree with Amy about the probability of Mercury toxicity, and would like to add that it may be also low thyroid as well. These two things often go hand in hand as mercury has an affinity for trashng the thyroid gland as wll as stressing out the adrenals, and then when the thyroid is not functoning well, then all the body systems slow down and you further don't metabolize and detox mercury and heavy metals and whatever else. Mercruy will make you feel flat. Low hormone levels can also make you feel totally flat about life, and stressed adrenals (wich tend to accompany mercury toxicity AND hytpothyroidism) will wipe out your sex drive. (Taking cortisone for adrenals helped a lot with my food allergies and lifted my brain fog. For some, it is the thyroid hormone that lifts the brain fog.) My flat out guess is that you suffer from all three: mercury toxicity, low thyroid and hypoadrenalism. not being a doctor here (heaven forbid the white coated serial killers, LOl) but it does sound a lot like those things to me. They will totally screw your body systems up and most doctors have no clue about PROPERLY diagnosing and treating hypothyroidism, (you may have been tested and they say you are fine whe you are dcidedly NOT) no clue about mercury toxicity in the first place, and most will not even run tests for the adrenals. For mercury check out: www.noamalgam.com. also: frequent-dose-chelation for thyroid go to : naturalthyroidhormones With the thyroid forum, you will need to weed out lots of chatter, but it is likely THE best source of info in this where you won't get a bunch of MISinformaton....check out their files section for starters. I sincerely hope you decide to check out all those sites, as I have a sneaking suspicion you will get to the root of your problems through those avenues. Yup....sounds like mercury to me! Still got you amalgams in???? ~Inga PS - Are you sure you are not reacting to the shrimp too? Shrimp can be loaded with mercury - I have had some awful attacks form eating some shrimp - no breading. ------------------------------ ------------------------------ Greetings...

Guest guest
, We can all guess at what is wrong with you until we are blue in the face, but what you need is find a great holistic clinic or doctor who is willing to help you. As educated and knowledgeable as many are on this forum, they can't diagnose your issues properly or correctly, because most of us will differ in our opinions as to what the problem is. Dr. Jordan Rubin, the founder of Garden for Life products had many of your maladies and was almost dead by the time he was helped. Please read his books or do a google search for him to read his story and possibly make an appointment to see him. Dr. Mercola is quite popular with many and does take patients from all over the country. It is worth going to see him or calling him to get a recommendation for a doctor in your area who is trained in alternative medicine. Dr. Saul has a site called www.doctoryourself.com. Contact him if you are willing. Dr. has a place called the Tahoma Clinc. Check the web for info. There are many great doctors and healers who have web sites and contacts. You need to find someone who can take a full history and run the needed tests to determine your illnesses and state of health, and monitor your progress. There is also a lab that can check your blood for many things, and they have local contacts who draw and send the blood to the lab, and you determine which tests you want performed and pay the individual prices. Here is one such site from Life Extension http://www.lef.org/newshop/cgi-shop/showCategory.cgi?catid=23000 and there are others out there. I know you are frustrated and need help, and I'm sure everyone wants to be able to help you, but you need consistency and diagnostics first and foremost in your efforts to restore your health. Good luck, Diane ...: )::.. wrote: >On 5/25/05 12:53 PM, " Jan Bolen " <jurimed@...> wrote: > > > >>Dear , >> >>Aren't you the same young guy I've seen on the ozone therapies list (or maybe >>it was the oxyplus list) and the colloidal silver list? Guest guest
Watch it dude! You are describing exactly what I went through during the last few years before (the Lord forbid!) I was diagnosed with cancer! Do yourself a favor and find out how bad of a Candida problem you have (the test using morning, pre breakfast saliva is really easy!), and attack it. Then try and see what other parasites your body is likely hosting and follow whatever regimens are needed to eliminate those as well. The issue is that once your body is weakened by one parasite, all kinds of other nasties take up residence and make you feel even worse. In my case ( " terminal " bladder cancer, which by the way I have just been told I am beating!) I use Dr. 's vitamins and supplements and her zapper, as well as a " poor man's Rife " box to eliminate a MAJOR infestation of Candida, plus Clostridium, Ascaris, several kinds of Strep, Cancer BX and BY and a whole mess of other odds and ends. The end result is that I have enough energy that doctors at Sloan and NY Hospital are having a cow a minute over me: all the other patients using the chemo drugs I am on are on wheelchairs and some need help even washing themselves. Instead I walk a 5 year old Springer Spaniel into the ground once a day, work around the house, need no nausea medicine and make a general nuisance of myself. Plus I eat whatever foods can't run away (although I follow Dr. 's latest cancer foods list!). And as for libido, let's just say that the wife calls me a dirty old man... I have just gone through surgery to have a Port installed in my chest (so they do not have to dig around for veins in my arms during chemo sessions): I drove to and from the hospital on my own as an outpatient, woke up from surgery complaining I was hungry and have not needed pain killers. Dr. 's latest book contains suggestions and lists I must credit with my feeling this good... Luigi My symptoms - please help! Greetings... Guest guest
Hey , I've been out of the group loop for a couple of weeks, but I am a newcomer to it and newly (about 1 month) diagnosed by a herbal nutrionist with candida. I read you post and really could relate to your plight and I feel for you. I have most of your symtoms, but not as severe as you describe yours to be. You could be having problems with all the issues you mention, but trying the yeast elimination couldn't hurt. I can tell you that I have been doing the candida elimination diet for one month, and taking a bunch of supplements. It was tough getting going, but now that I'm in a rythmn with it, it's not bad. It's not the easiest thing to follow, and I do miss some things, but it is doable, and I'm still learning. It's hard to say how I'm feeling, but I will definitely say better. They say you will feel worse before you feel much better as the yeast dies off causing toxicity in your body for awhile. I haven't noticed real horrible die off, but some issues. I am also for the first time treating my allergies/sinuses naturally with herbs and drops. They have helped. I have always been a sweetaholic, but since I've been off the sugar, I don't really crave it (just miss it). Never was much of an alcoholic beverage drinker so I don't really miss that at all. It always gave me the brain fog and very stuffy anyway. For years and years I took anti-biotics for sinus infections as well, and I'm avoiding those like the plague now. Diary and wheat started to become a problem for me as well and my stomach/digestion problems are much better since I now avoid them. My hope is that some day in the not to far off future I can slowly start adding some things back, but I think I will always follow this style of diet foundationally. I have lost weight, not a tremdous amount, but enough to feel less bloated and better. So, I just wanted to give you some hope. I think if you can get with the right naturopath, herbalist, etc, your condition can get better. I like you finally hit my rock bottom with traditional medicine and drugs. I just got sick and tired of feeling sick and tired, and depressed. It's hard work and not easy to re-program years of eating patterns that are so ingrained/connected to us socially and culturally, but to start to feel better and more alive is very much worth it. Hang in there, and best of luck to you! Laurie > Greetings... > I am on what appears to be an eternal quest to figure out what exactly is > going on in my body, and how to fix it. Guest guest
I concur with Luigi. I too had symptoms like that for many years before I was diagnosed with breast cancer 6 years ago. My surgeon told my husband that of the people that she treated with cancer like mine 6 years ago, they are all dead but me. That is pretty sobering. Dr. 's " The Prevention of All Cancers " book, like Luigi indicated, is what I would follow if I were you. I have been following Dr. 's latest cancer program for over 5 years and gratefully credit her for saving my life. I refused all chemo, radiation and drugs after I had surgery. > Watch it dude! I have considered Mercury poisoning, but never was sure if I actually had it. Is there a test you can get? I have definitely recognized many toxins, and am avoiding all I know of (I use natural / fragrance free everything). I work in an office environment, are there factors there that could be making me sick? I have tried Chiropractic many times but it has not really helped me. I have tried a LOT of things - acupuncture+herbs, hellerwork, massage, etc Recently I have considered revising the physical trauma aspect of the injury, as for a long time I have thought it to be systemic (which it may be in it's majority). But I was in some car accidents many years ago, and have a lot of neck pain as a result. So I could definitely believe that I have a lot of scar tissue, nerve impingement, etc, etc. that may be playing a factor. Guest guest
, My name is Corey and I am 28 years old. I WAS where you ARE about 5 years ago, probably much worse with depression. I decided to fast myself to death. I called it " involuntary " suicide. I locked myself in my room and began drinking distilled water and nothing else touched my mouth. 5 days before I did this I aquired a new roomate from my hometown and I see in hindsight he was an angel sent to me. He got a job within 2 days and was gone all day after at work. He told me that he had a computer and if I gotr bored I could use it all I wanted. So about a week into fasting I came out of my sanctuary(room hehe) and made the tired walk 1 flight of stairs to his computer. I knew that nutrition was the only thing that was going to help me so I typed " nutrition " into the search engine and began reading. I read for days, sleeping about 3-4 hours each day, the rest of the time, on the computer reading about nutrition. After a while, I began to notice a trend in certain areas, namely RAW and ANIMAL foods but they weren't put together yet untill day 18 where I came across the Price-Pottenger foundation. I had basically been eating a primitive diet much like the Type O blood diet or the Sally Fallon diet but my previous alcoholic lifestyle had weakened my body so much I needed an all raw animal foods diet to get the necessary nutrients with NO toxicity. All cooked food produces toxicity. I went to bed that night with a feeling of enlightenment and could smell the end was near in my personal search for health which had been going on for about 3 years previous. I just wanted to be happy and be able to hold down a job, little did I know who I would meet on the internet the next day. A man who would take me beyond just holding down a job, but a man who would show me how to become healthy, I mean above average healthy. That man I met on day 19 of my fast, Aajonus Vonderplanitz. The next day I woke up, dragged myself out of bed and went to the computer. The first thing I typed in was raw meat diet for humans and the Stanley Bass website came up. www.drbass.com I read everything on that site untill I came upon the primitive diet articles, with which I read the Aajonus example. As I read it, I cried the entire time and extremely loud at times as I read and read. I knew it was over. That interview with Aajonus by M2M magazine saved my life and is the reason you are reading this right now. I became to weak to get out of bed the next day, day 20. I broke that fast on day 24 after being bed ridden and wanting to die. After 2 days of eating raw vegetable juices and lots of fatty raw hamburger I got strong enough to call my parents and tell them I was moving back to the farm and was going to give this one last shot. If this didn't work for me, I would go on bipolar medication which they wanted me to do for many years. I told my Dad we needed to buy a Jersey milk cow for me and we did. She calved 1 week later and I began consuming massive amounts of raw dairy blended with raw eggs, some fruit and occasionally some raw hamburger. I got stronger as the months went by untill spring of 2004 during easter weekend, I flew to California and had a personal consultation with this man, this raw meat eater named Aajonus Vonderplanitz continued... > Greetings... > I am on what appears to be an eternal quest to figure out what exactly is > going on in my body, and how to fix it.
