Zapper part needed

There is one very important part of the Zapper that Radio Shack tells me

they don't make any more, the 555 CMOS Timer chip (the main chip that

everything is attached to.) Does anyone know where to get one? If you

even just have one please respond to my personal email address. I

bought all the stuff for two whole zappers, with a whole lot of

substitute parts because that one was not available. I managed to

finally come up with one zapper. But it doesn't work. There is some

place in the wiring that is shorting out and I think that it is because

of all the fancy footwork that was done for lack of that chip. The one I

had to get has very short pins. I would Absolutely LOVE to ZAP! If

anyone can help, I would appreciate it! Thanks!
