Guest guest
Yes. It is called NAET treatment, basically accupucture. You take samples of your allergen to the practioner, he will muscle test you and the ones you are weak to, he will treat you. If you are close to UC , you aren't too far from Roc Gantt 5777 Madison ave. (just west of Manzanita Ave) Sacramento 916-349-9223 (from I-80 take Madison east towards Sunrise Mall. Guest guest
Funny you mention acupuncture! I'm actually going to one tomorrow morning... What do mean take him samples of my allergen? Hopefully that will help my breathing problem...I was going to the store right now to buy the breath easy tea, but I think I'll just wait until tomorrow to see what happens with the acupuncture... thanks! shefy <xander95608@...> wrote:Yes. Guest guest
example of allergen... mine are cottonwood trees and sycamore trees (the powdery mold that grows on the leaves). I would take those in, along with 3 or 4 other species of trees, and get tested. Roc suggests just bringing in 5 things at a time but I think my sis took in 7. A new brand of season salt (she flunked it at first, and some nuts & vitamins. UCD has a botanical garden, and a large selection of trees. You are probably allergic to some of the pollens from their garden. shefy gupta <shefy7@...> wrote: Funny you mention acupuncture! I'm actually going to one tomorrow morning... Guest guest
Shefy, I had a similar episode in June of 2004. I was working and realized I couldn't take a full breath. It got worse so I went to the hospital and in about 6 hours had about 9 breathing treatments, and the xray showed fluid in the bottom of my lungs, and the Dr. said I had some inflammation. I told him I did not want to take a steroid and wanted options, but all he could offer was Albuterol. When I left the hospital, I was feeling very weak and light headed, with a racing heart from whatever it was I was inhaling there, and that scared me. I got online to my colloidal silver list and asked for help and got it from a pharmacist member. I went to Walgreens and bought their personal sized ultrasonic humidifer that creates a mist almost as fine as a nebulator. In it I put 20%DMSO, 70%colloidal silver and 10%hydrogen peroxide and did 20 minutes of breathing in the mist every waking hour that I could, and aimed it at my face when sleeping. It worked quickly, I had no discomfort a slight cough to clean out the lungs, and was feeling fine the next day. I kept it up for a week and I had no reoccurance after that. Guest guest
I don't think TJ sells C/S. Any good health food store like Elliotts or Sunrise would. --------------------------------- Messenger with Voice. PC-to-Phone calls for ridiculously low rates. Guest guest
After using Albuterol 3 times a day for almost a year, I credit 's liver cleanses with my recovery. I've only used an inhaler once in 8 months. I noticed significant relaxation in my lungs, bronchia, sinuses, etc. after the first dose of Epsom salts during the first cleanse. I do the cleanses about once a month otherwise symptoms return, although not nearly as bad as before. I rarely get a stuffy nose these days. Now, if I have an episode, it's usually around a change in seasons, I don't know why. I also found significant relief by changing my bedding to organic wool (pillows, comforter and mattress cover on top of a cotton futon instead of flame retardent mattress). I believe a common dust mite allergy was adding to the breathing problems. Before I spent money on the bedding (it's pretty expensive), I tested myself for dust mite allergy by sleeping between 2 pure wool blankets for a few days and noticed significant relief. After that, I shelled out for organic wool - dust mites hate wool. Also, change your laundry detergent and cleaners to plain Borax. Every little bit helps. I threw out all cleaners and detergents and everything that had a scent in my home, including candles. You will be amazed at the volume of scented products in your home! Good luck, shefy7 <shefy7@...> wrote: Another problem has come to haunt me, " seasonal asthma " ....It started last year when I went to finish school in , CA. Agricultural town basically. Guest guest
I use Seventh Generation products as well, I think they are great. Cotton barrier cloth is also a good deterent for dust mites but it's very expensive, which is why I ended up using wool. Dust mites would be in your mattress and barrier cloth would keep them from creeping out of your mattress while you sleep. Technically, it doesn't get rid of them, but they are unable to penetrate the tightly woven fabric and irritate you. According to Dr. , ascaris worms in the lungs may contribute to breathing problems also. In her latest book " Prevention of all Cancers " , she notes that habanero peppers in the diet can kill ascaris worms. You might try adding that to your diet as well, if you're not allergic to peppers. Good luck! shefy gupta <shefy7@...> wrote:i'm allergic to wool i sleep in light cotton right now and wash my sheets and dall every week and air out everything EVERYDAY! i only use the inhalers twice a day, and if i remember correctly i used it less than a month last year... i just bought the seventh generation detergent, hopefully that willl help me. i also put tea tree, eucalyptus and clove oil in my humidifier...it smells nice and seems to help me get to sleep and stay asleep. thanks shefy Borberg <skiwp_nancy@...> wrote:After using Albuterol 3 times a day for almost a year, I credit 's liver cleanses with my recovery.
