It has 2 settings: The red light, and the green light. First you run the red light 7 minuntes, 20 minutes off, times 3. Then, you can run another cycle of the red if you want. When you are through running the red, then you turn on the green light and run that for 40 minutes. The green light is supposed clean up, get rid of the virus's and bacteria that are left after the red light. This zapper didn't come with information on the specs. I wonder if it has the same frequency ranges as Hulda's zapper. It was advertised as designed after hers. It works, we have had some results. My husband uses it more than I do.
