Guest guest
I have one of the units myself, not one of the low priced ones either! I paid 2500.00 for it. The color of the water will depend on several factors including the type of water you use. Even without a person in it the water here will turn orange. My water unfortunately is hard enough where I do not get nearly 100 uses on one array. What sold me on it was not the color of the water, but the smell of it. Having been an ICU nurse that smelled septic bodies I was amazed to smell that from my foot bath. Over the years I have decided that alot of the smell and toxicity of the water is the chlorine in it. I smell people coming from swimming pools that smell nearly as bad. I believe the machine has great benefit, especially for arthritic joints. I would certainly be careful avertising that you use it on anyone though unless you want the state breathing down your back. There are several contraindications to using it to so if it did not come with those instructions I would not use it. And be sure that the person using it supplements with a good liquid mineral supplement because it will leach minerals and cause some bone pain as well as the metals. Guest guest
Why not use distilled water to reduce the toxicity of the water. You may still have some, but dissolved solids won't be an issue. Guest guest
Distilled water is stripped of minerals that are necessary for conductivity of the current. The ion units call for sea salt, but if you use distilled you will also have to add calcium (needed to harden the water) and perhaps other minerals. When i had my pool ionizer, we lived in an area where out tap water was too soft.. only 5ppm and we had to add calcium as well as salt for our chlorine-free pool ionization system to work. I plan to use tap water that has been neutralized with ascorbic acid. I might try it after running it thru my Brita too, to see if it is less effective. I don't think we have flouride in our water. The county has not as far as I know, but the city did about 9 years ago started adding flouride. CB <cbehrman@...> wrote: Why not use distilled water to reduce the toxicity of the water. Guest guest
Distilled water is a poor conductor. Leo ---------------- > > Why not use distilled water to reduce the toxicity of the water.
