Guest guest
I followed the directions of this site: http://www.modernherbalist.com/products/sf-722.html Which was about the clearest I could find. I'll quote. However, just SF722 is not enough, you need to rotate with other antifungals as well, unless you have a small infection, in which case the SF722 might be enough. Ilana Quote from site: " DIRECTIONS: Begin by taking 1 gelcap, 2 times daily either with or between meals. After 4 to 5 days, increase to 1 gelcap 3 times daily, providing that you are not feeling worse than when you started. This may happen due to a yeast die-off reaction which can potentially flood the system with poisons produced by the dying micro-organisms. This condition may cause headache, body pains and general flu-like symptoms. With the use of FORMULA SF722 the chances of this occurring are not great, provided the diet and dosing directions are carefully followed. In the event that a die-off reaction does occur, reduce the intake of FORMULA SF722 and wait a few days, don't give up. Once the die-off symptoms have cleared, resume the gradual increase in dosage, but much more slowly than what is recommended in the directions below. The best indicator of how slowly the dosage should be increased is your reaction. The use of the other supportive remedies listed above, along with the FORMULA SF722 will further reduce the chances of a die-off reaction. After having taken 1 gelcap, 3 times daily for 1 week, increase the dose to 2 gelcaps, 3 times daily. If all is going well and you are feeling better, increase the dose on the following week to 3 gelcaps, 3 times daily and proceed in this manner until you have reached 5 gelcaps, 3 times daily. This dose must be maintained for at least 6 weeks to obtain lasting results. Then, depending on how you've responded, we suggest that you experiment with cutting down or going without. Hi Ilana, Sorry. VCNO stand for Virgin CocoNut Oil which has a high Lauric and Capric fatty acid content, shown to destroy the membrane around Candida and thus kill it dead. Guest guest
Coconut (and the oil) contain Capryllic acid, which is what functions as the anti-fungal in coconut. So look for caps with capryllic acid in them, they sell them in many health-supplement varieties. Get the highest dose you can find. good luck, Ilana On Mon, 14 Jan 2002, CB wrote: > Yes, it means he can't do the coconut nor the coconut oil. It's useless however if you're allergic to it, which makes your point mute. And there is then a need for an alternative (capryllic acid caps and the other antifungals). However it's interesting to know for those who aren't allergic to it. Ilana

Guest guest
Tues. Jan15/02 Dear Ilana: Quite interesting what you have to say about the capryllic acid in coconut and that some people become allergic to it and its therefore of no use. Also that after seven days if you don't knock it out you have to switch to something else. At least that's what I understand from what you are sayig. Right now I am experiencing considerable distress in the body and need help. I have been on HC's program since Ocotber 21st .I am presently on the maintenance dosages of once a week. Meanwhile on December 15th I came down with what I understood to be a bladder infection. I immediately used URISTATIN from THORNE RESEARCH and after ten days it cleared. ie., Dec25th On the 26 of Dec., I contracted a viral cold in the chest and nasal passages. HOREHOUND COMBO tincture from St Francis has worked to a degree clearing up alot of the mucus some of which was coloured. But not much. January 11th after completing 7 weeks of the Kidney flush I did HC's L:iver cleanse. I felt some better. After twenty four hours stones and chaff were still movng out. There had been pain in the lower back (which has disappeared as well as pain all the way up to my right shoulder blade and neck.) An indication to me that I need to do another Liver cleanse two weeks hence. Yesterday was a beautiful day. I went out for a walk by the ocean. Afterwards, in the night I had the night sweats My whole body felt like it was burning as if I was sweating out pure acid. There was some pain in the bladder but the PH balance is normal. I had a tremendous headache, straight up the central core of the head. It felt like I had caught a cold in the bladder. Perhaps I am taking too many herbals. I don't know. I have no one here to relate this to who would support and understand the process. As well as the Kidney cleanse and the weekly maintenace program I am taking CHANCA PIEDRA which dissolves stones 2 tabs twice a day. It always feel good when I do this because I can feel a movement happening in the gallbladder as if its emptying. I stopped taking the Rice based vitamins and minerals I was taking this AM because I noted that the inside of the cannister was lined in what looks like aluminum. Perhaps I should also stop taking the niacin tablets. I did order some SF 722 and its on its way. Perhaps this program is too stringent for me. I weigh 85 pounds and and am not as they say, a spring chicken. On the positive side. The candida pain in my right groin has vastly improved and my head has lightened considerably until last night agin when I had this bout of sweating. It felt like a cold in the bladder. I zapped and took a BLADDER tincture remedy and just had some Brown rice cereal for breakfast. This is my L-Cysteine and Ozonated Olive Oil day ... the MOP-UP day. We shall see how I progress. However if anyone out there reads this and has any suggestions I would very much appreciate it because sometimes I think that there is nothing wrong with my bladder but that the Candida SIMULATES that there is. And simulation or not it is NOT comfortable and I am doing my very best to clear it all up. Also I am quite prepared to switch---------- medications and do a full orchestration here of what needs to be done. Finally I might say that I have made considerable headway on the program since Oct 21st but I still have a distance to go. I would value any input anyone can share with me on the subject of healing Candida. Hi Ilana, I did ask them what happened and if the reactions happened on the RBD or virgin forms as the two are very different. Don't think I got a reply. Also that after seven days if you don't knock it out you have to switch to something else. At least that's what I understand from what you are sayig. > > Right now I am experiencing considerable distress in the body and need help. Hi Joan, Sure there are folks who are allergic to their own shadow but not a lot who are allergic to virgin coconut oil. I know of no studies supporting that candida will alter it's ability to be killed by coconut oil. Coconut oil breaks apart the membrane around the candida cell. There is no way the cell can stop this happening. As a Naturopath, if you were my patient, I would strongly suggest you try 1 tablespoon 3 times a day of virgin coconut oil, made form fresh coconuts. Forget the refined, bleached and deodorized (RBD) stuff. I would also get you to eliminate all other oils and fats, take 1 - 2 tablespoon of ground flax and get 1 - 2 serves a week of fatty fish (salmon, mackerel, tuna, herring, sardines) to lower proinflammatory cellular hormones in your body. You will know in a few weeks if it is helping. ======================== Good Health & Long Life, Greg , http://optimalhealth.cia.com.au gowatson@...
