Guest guest Posted May 19, 2006 Report Share Posted May 19, 2006 I've tried Tea Tree shampoo a few times but got such intense itching and red swollen scalp, indictive of hives, so assumed I am allergic. Maybe this was a fungal die-off? I know it was miserable experience. It was basically just as miserable reaction I have had to hair dyes (I am allergic to resorcin and resorcinol in many products) I gave the rest of the tea treeaway.
