Act Now to Preserve Your Access to Supplements

Dear Friends,

For any of you who have interest in the health freedom/dietary

supplement issue, I urge you to watch a documentary on the web that

can be found at http://www.welltv.com called " We Become Silent "

narrated by Dame Judi Dench. It is approximately 28 minutes long and

gives an overview of the global supplement freedom situation with a

mention of CAFTA (Central American Free Trade Agreement) towards the

end. During the course of this video, you will hear briefly of a

woman in France who was arrested for selling 500 mg. dosages of

Vitamin C.

The vote on CAFTA can take place at any time during the next two weeks

before the House of Representatives goes into summer recess. It was

stated on the floor of the House last week by a Representative who is

a CAFTA opponent that the leadership would probably call for this vote

late at night when few Representatives are present and the leadership

are certain that they have the votes needed to win. Since CAFTA has

already been signed by the President (last year) and ratified by the

Senate (earlier this month), ratification by the House is the last

step needed for the U.S. to enter into this trade agreement.

If you are concerned about maintaining the health freedoms supposedly

secured with passage of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education

Act of 1994 (DSHEA), I ask you to take action now. You will find more

information about the connection between passage of CAFTA and

Please act now to preserve the rights of all U.S. citizens to have

access to nutritional supplements in therapeutic doses at reasonable

prices. Even if you call or e-mail your Representative and say

simply, " I urge you to vote against CAFTA, " with no explanation or

reasons, your voice be heard!
