Guest guest
<<any suggestions of what to try for a kidney infection??>> Cranberries and cranberry juice are recommended for urinary tract infections both for prevention and treatment. However, when an actual infection of the kidney is diagnosed, I'm not sure about cranberries there. Fresh, not bottled or concentrated, if at all possible. In all infections, you can't beat raw garlic. It attacks the infection and boosts the immune system. Jay
Guest guest
In a message dated 06/20/2003 6:36:02 PM Central Daylight Time, > <<any suggestions of what to try for a kidney infection??>> am not sure about kidney but when I have blader problems I take Colostrum by Immune Tree. I take 3 on an empty stomach then 3 again on empty stomach and so on. Kidney stuff is pretty serious. If you don't get some knowledgeable stuff soon, you need a doc. I normally never see them because I treat all my ailments but kidney things are serious. Edith

Guest guest
Hi Rhoda, I had kidney pain at the beginning of the diet. It's mostly gone now. Once I introduced ghee it has been less, so I really don't think animal fats would have anything to do with hurting kidneys. Maybe too much protein..but you usually wouldn't eat too much meat if you're getting enough fats. Natalia > > Hi, > I'm preparing to go on the candida diet soon, and in the mean time have increased my fats, and have decreased carbs. I'm eating more meat and eggs now, and eating lots of raw cultured butter, plus maybe a T. or two of coconut oil per day. > > My kidneys are hurting and I'm almost sure I have an infection. My concern is that I don't want to harm myself with the increase in fat and protein. Also a lot of sources say that kidney problems can stem from eating a diet high in animal fats and protein?? I'm thinking I read somewhere that animal fats were good for healing the kidneys, but don't know where I read that now. I need encouragement.... am I overdoing it? Thanks, Rhoda. >
