Guest guest
I was just suggesting washing your containers in it. I don't think I'd add it to the water for drinking. Drinking chlorine is not good for you. It may kill bacteria but it also upsets your gut flora. (for starters). Reysean Warren <blackkmann30@...> wrote: Thanks again . Guest guest
Hi, H2O2 is safe only with non-metal containers. Using it for cleaning metal containers, may result in leaching metal toxicity thru' skin. =============================================== wrote: > I was just suggesting washing your containers in it. Guest guest
Ohh no I didn't mean add it to the drinking water. I was asking how much do you add to the water when you rinse it out. <xander95608@...> wrote: I was just suggesting washing your containers in it. I don't think I'd add it to the water for drinking. Guest guest
I'd guess 50/50, which the dentist says is safe to rinse your mouth. Personally I store water in glass containers, wash with hot soapy water. I wouldn't store your water in plastic, just for transport if you are buying R/O water from the store. Guest guest
Rinsing out still leaves a residue on your container. It is deadly stuff. Guest guest
I reuse my gallon water bottles. First, I clean them inside by swishing some hydrogen peroxide in them, making sure I cover all areas,, drain, and then let them air dry with out the cover on. Don't put the cover on empty, clean bottles. I find this keeps bacteria from growing in the bottle. You can also use CS in the bottle the same way. After filling my bottles with RO, I use one of the bottles to fill each bottle to the very top and put the cover on, keeping air out. The bottle that is less full, is the one I use first. Don't use bleach. It is too harsh and you can ingest it this way if not rinsed well enough. The hydrogen peroxide won't hurt you and I have not noticed any breakdown of the plastic bottles with the H202.. Diane Reysean Warren wrote: > Thanks Marelen, that's what I do at the current time. Guest guest
yeah okay, that's probably my best choice then.
