Guest guest
Dear all, My nephew has got all the liver symptoms including asthma and coughing that he has not been able to shake for a few months. His liver is swollen and painful to push on. He is 9 and a half. Has just completed the parasite cleanse, starting the bowel cleanse tomorrow and then planning on doing a liver flush next week. Has anybody done cleanses like this with their kids at such a young age? We are planning to put the epsom salts in capsules to get it down him. Should the dosage of the epsom salts and olive oil mix be adjusted to say 2/3 of the original amount? I don't want him to be in a position where he does not have enough mixture to push the stones through and one gets stuck. I have heard this happening to people that neglected the parasite cleanse or took less of the epsom salts and olive oil. Any thoughts? Thanks, Dean
Guest guest
Dean, <my thoughts> I am thinking if his liver is tender, before doing the flush I'd address the pain in the liver. (might it be bruised from the coughing?). Burdock root, turmeric, milk thistle, artichoke, dandelion, licorice root, marshmallow root, beets are some of the things that soothe irritated liver. Green apples help soften most stones. This stuff works pretty quickly. White willow bark is a mild anti-inflamatory but I've never seen it listed in liver treatments. Personally I like the " Bupleurum Liver Cleanse " by Planetary, and also their " Stone Free " . Are you zapping too? I use the foot plates directly on my lower chest, front and back as close to liver as possible. I use a zapper with a dial to adjust intesity gradually. It cost a lot more, but I think it's worth it. Anybody else have something to add? Adults probably wouldn't think twice about flushing when the liver is angry, but on a child, I think I would calm it down first, if possible. As for 2/3 dose, take into account his weight/ size of course. You might be pretty close though. I haven't tried it on my child. Good luck! Yes, it is a good idea to settle the liver first. Have started him on some dandelion for the liver and taurine to increase the bile flow. He will use castor oil packs as per Dr 's suggestions http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/network/castor_oil_pack.html Yes he is zapping and will start drinking apple juice with vitamin C today. He is hypothyroid according to lab tests. Andy body know how to handle this? Thanks, Dean
Guest guest
Hi Dean I think addressing one problem at a time is best. Sometimes fixing one problem, the others will fix themselves on their own when other organs are working right. Thyroid is a little different system, so might not improve much after liver is healed, but you might want to discuss this with your favorite health advisor. Sounds like you have a good plan and my list of stuff is rather long, so to your plan I'd just suggest adding Turmeric (in food it is undetectable taste wise, but does have a bright yellow color) is excellent in soothing the liver, and works on me within a few hours. Burdock helps too, it's a new one to me so not a lot of experience, but has good reviews from my reading about it. (I haven't used Burdock without turmeric). When my liver is angry, I started with turmeric, then added the other things later, which seems to make it work faster. (I get most of my " list " from Prescription for Natural Healing " Balch and the " Little Herb Encyclopedia " .) I haven't yet tried castor pack as per Dr. I keep forgetting to order it. These books would also list some helpful suggestions for low thyroid. Thanks for your comments. Yes, it is a good idea to settle the liver first.
