So this is a bad thing that something improves the efficiency of theliver's

work??? You're right in wanting to inform people of the impending possibilities,

but if you'd spend less time trying to pass along inflmmatory comments and pay

attention to the list, it WAS ALREADY POSTED!! Besides, if you have a drug(s)

doing damage, you seldom hear about it , but let an herb be in the mix, and let

the exorcisions begin; do away with that demon herb, it can't be that the herb

is okay by itself, and the drug had it's potential side effects amplified by the

action of the herb(s)!

You're so busy trying to incriminate somebody or something that you can't see

the forrest for the trees!

Hi Khepri,

The warning (which I originally posted) was a result of the herb being taken

seriously by the medical profession and

like other drug and drug like supplements, serious research being done to look

at any negative side effects and

interactions with other drugs.

Nothing was said about controlling OTC (over the counter) availability, just

that with some drugs, their dose may need

to be adjusted upward if taking St. 's Wort as well.

As the potency of OTC supplements continues to improve, knowledge about

interactions with other medications will become

more important.
