Guest guest
Corey, You mention Zeta potential. Where can I learn about this concept in detail? Thanks Re: ionic foot cleanse Shefy, Actually this isn't hard to believe in at all. Pour vinegar on baking soda and what happens? You get a bubbly foam. I have very poor Chemistry knowledge but if this - ion water pulls out + charged metals and acids will it foam and bubble like the vinegar/baking soda thing? I dunno. You rotten egg smell sounds like H2S or hydrogen sulphide. What has me the most curious is how I can change my body charge or chemistry beforehand to maximise the drawing out of the + ions like the metals. It would seem to me that this unit works on simple osmosis and so the smaller these toxins(+ metals etc.) are, perhaps the more of them will come out. From my layman's understanding the greater the - charge potential the smaller these toxins(metals) will become as they float around in our blood and fluids. So greatly increasing the negative charge potential in the body before the treatment, might result in greater amounts of these toxins to come out? Case study: Person A eats a burger with sour pickles, onions and tomato, some deep fried onion rings and a coke. Then starts his car and lets it warm up in his garage and gets a few minutes of exhaust exposure. He listens to heavy metal music and bangs his head while driving to the clinic. When he gets to the clinic he undergoes a foot bath. Person B eats some sushi with rice. He covers the sushi and rice with a drizzle of flax oil and then eats dessert of ripe banana and some fresh, coconut cream. He gets into his car and doesn't breathe in any exhaust. He listens to some light classical music and sways his head in unison to the soothing notes. When he gets to the clinic he gets his foot bath. Prson A's body fluids are going to be much different than person B's. Person A is going to have very acidic blood which will increase the surface tension of his fluids. His lack of any electron potential in the food he ate will also result in a low, electro-negative carrying capacity of his fluids(Zeta Potential) all the little nutrients and wastes in his fluids will be clumped together or even settled out in his arteries etc. because it takes - charge to keep this material in colloids and in suspension and swimming in his body fluids. Person B will have much higher Zeta Potential. Because of the flax oil, raw fish, banana and cream he will have an abundance of electron's. The p.h. of the foods will lower his surface tension and he will be relaxed. His nutrients and wastes will be in much smaller form and not clumped together because they will be colloids from all the - foods he ate. The question then becomes, which person will draw out more metals(+ charge) when they have there foot bath assuming both have similar metal load before that morning? Guest guest
I have a ionic foot cleanser and yes the water will turn a color depending upon what is in your water supply whether natural or chemical from the water plant. Distilled will turn a little also. It is not so much the color of the water but what else shows up. With feet in the tub, foam, greasy lymph stuff, chunky matter of various colors, black and green flakes, not omitting the smell that others have mentioned. I have used this on myself, my autistic son and others. I watched my son's eyes change from a very dull mud water brown, with no brightness or markings to the total opposite. I have had some pretty interesting clearings myself. It is not a cure all, and will not chelate all on its own. But I do believe it is a very helpful tool. JMHO Tari Re: ionic foot cleanse My chirpractor got the ionic foot baths in her office. I was told that everyone was doing it.. so I tried about 3. I decided to keep my money. I did not feel any better or any worse after each one. I was not convinced about the thing at all. I read the material that the clinic supplied and it states that even if no foot is put into the water, the water coming from the little gizmo will become colored, usually black. I asked the office help about this and they replied that yes, the unit had been run with no foot in it and the water turned black. Sorry but I have not been convinced that the foot bath will draw out metals, or anything else joyce

Guest guest
That may be true, but some of us do not have the time, and or ability to build this. Guest guest
Corey, I'd be concerned about lead solder for welding the stuff together, since the electrical current mixed with the salt will release small amounts of the metal array/plates during the ionization, wouldn't it also release bits of lead? Maybe super glue would work. koyd24 <c_dyok@...> wrote: Tari, Sorry if I offended you. Guest guest
Many thanks Corey. Re: ionic foot cleanse , Here are some links. You can also search for Zeta Potential, surface tension, anionic surfactants, vortex flow, EDTA, and chelation. http://www.hbci.com/~wenonah/info/colloid.htm http://www.hbci.com/~wenonah/riddick/edta.htm http://www.hbci.com/~wenonah/riddick/index.html http://www.hbci.com/~wenonah/riddick/chap22.htm www.johnellis.com If you read these links, you should have a fairly good understanding of why - ions in air, water and food can help us heal. You will also understand the basis of using things like citric acid Dr. recommends as a hair rinse. It is an anionic sufactant and cause the water molecules to spread out and become soft and the hair seals, shines and flows. You may also understand basic things like blood albumin which is another anion surfactant and coats things in our fluids so they stay suspended and apart. High albumin levels like I have are indicative of heavy metal poisoning. What really intrigued me the most was the arteries of the heart and the vortex flow that the blood is subjected to each time is goes through the heart. This spinning of the blood sets up a negative charge potential otherwise we would be coagulated in minutes. That is amazing. Guest guest
Corey, You didn't offend me that is why I put the in my message. I was just offering another opinion. I know it is a lot of money (I really would have preferred to pay a lot less) but I was paying $50 a bath for 3 people so the cost was worth it to me. I would love to have an HBOT system but no way can I afford this. Technically, one could be built relatively easily by digging a hole in the ground at least 18ft but in my part of the country it would be a snake pit. (I'm a wimp when it comes to creepy crawlies, I would rather face a tornado head on than enter some of the storm shelters around here, UGH) so sometimes cheaper isn't an alternative. By the way, anyone interested in a Ion foot bath needs to realize that the array needs to be replaced every 40 to 50 baths. This adds up. Re: ionic foot cleanse Tari, Sorry if I offended you. My post was directed towards people who maybe felt helpless when they saw these price tags of $1795 and $2500 on their computer screens. This is a lot of money for people. Guest guest
Rose, Oh gosh, don't know where to start. Before the baths I could not take my son ANYWHERE except the grocery store. He would have panic, screaming fits. He had separation anxiety to the point where I was either carrying him all the time or he was sitting on my shoulders ( I should have looked like Arnold). The eye color, as I mentioned earlier, sickly yellowish skin. He was very, very toxic. He now has none of these. I have done many other things also, but I have found that these bath help him a lot. I treat him using Metabolic NAET and after a clearing he may have some severe detoxing issues. The bath help release these. As I said before, it is not a cure all, but I do believe it is a very helpful tool. I do not believe it will chelate you all by itself (partly but not in whole)--you will need to do something to loosen the junk up first. Warmly, Tari Re: ionic foot cleanse > > > >From my limited knowledge of this subject, these units appear to be > simple chemistry experiments of electrolysis like Leo mentioned. > With all due respect to people who purchased commercial units for > many hundreds of dollars but they could be homebuilt and very > affordable. > > Corey > > > I have a ionic foot cleanser > and yes the water will turn a color depending upon what is in your > water supply whether natural or chemical from the water plant. > Distilled will turn a little also. Guest guest
Yes, the array is what you actually put in the water along with your feet. Re: ionic foot cleanse Tari, You mentioned the " Array " needs to be replaced every 40-50 baths and that it adds up. Could you please clarify what you mean by an array? Are you talking about the electrodes? Guest guest
I'm not sure I understand your question. When I said they add up, I meant the additional cost. The array is supposed to last for a certain number of cleanses and then must be replaced. Depending on your water supply and I believe how close to the target electrical range you keep your unit has a lot to do with how long the array will last. Please understand I am in no way " pushing " the unit I have. I have had it for several years and I was only aware of two companies that manufactured this equipment at the time I purchased it. I was familiar with it and trusted it. Re: ionic foot cleanse How are these adding up? Can they not be stainless steel rods like Leo mentioned, i.e. welding rods? Guest guest
The eroded metal probably goes to the bottom of the pan. Maybe one way to find out is try putting a white sock around the array, and see if the metal ends up inside or outside the sock (or pillowcase, some kind of filter). ? This could be some of the metals you saw come from your boyfriend's foot bath, that you thought was coming out of him. shefy gupta <shefy7@...> wrote: I just ordered the foot cleanse off the ebay site...the one for $300 where the man makes them himself at home.
