Guest guest
The Journal of the AMA released the results of " government-funded studies found no evidence that dental fillings containing mercury can cause IQ-lowering brain damage or other neurological problems in children. " http://www.comcast.net/news/index.jsp?cat=GENERAL & fn=/ 2006/04/18/370558.html Fortunately, the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology has stepped forward and rebuffed the studies. However, I'd be willing to bet, their Letter of Complaint won't receive any coverage with the Mainstream Media. http://www.iaomt.org/documents/RELEASE%20-%20Ethics_complaints.pdf Does make us wonder -- how come Mercury is banned in most European countries, and yet thanks to big business studies like the one mentioned in JAMA (above), it's deemed safe in the United States.
