Group Moderator Assistance Needed

For some unknown reason, I am receiving 3 COPIES of EACH EMAIL from this

group Daily.(Capitalized for emphasis, not yelling) Could you please look into

this situation, and have it resolved?( I like email but not the same thing

over & over & over again lol)

My group username is Lornnslady, and my email is lornnslady@...

Hope this info helps get this situation resolved.

I thank you in advance, and look forward to just 1 email from this point on.

I am not computer literate enough to fix this. Does anyone on this

list know the answer to the problem? If so, pls suggest a remedy. I

will do my best to fix it.

Lornnslady, can you check to make sure it is not something on your end, perhaps

a virus? (Actually both of you should check). The only time that I have gotten

multiple emails like this is a virus was always involved. And it was not always

multiple emails from every recipient.

I don't know about anyone else on the list but I am only getting one email per

post. So it doesn't seem to be a consistent problem with the group emails.

It is said this is a problem. The duplicate posts are happening on other

lists.

Thanks for the info, that its not on my end(I did scan for viruses) and that

it is

just a Doo Hickie happening.

Thanks to Leo for his quick attention on this matter,

and for all who replied, to let me know the scoop on

multiple emails.

For now, the apparent answer just seems to be the

delete button.

Try unsubscribing from this group and then resubscribe to it. On

a couple of groups that I moderate, this seemed to work for others that

had similar problems, such as multiple emails, missed emails, not being

able to send to group emails, etc.

I forwarded your request to a friend who is very good with computers and this

was her response. Hope it helps. Terri

Tell Leo to check his " mail list " as the moderator. It's possible that when she

was registered, her email is listed three times since no one else is

Your friend is correct, I checked the list and found the person

subscribed several times. Only thing, when I deleted one entry somehow

I managed to delete the others. Hope this works out some how.
