a,

If you have any root canals or implants it would be good to get them

removed because they can cause pain and problems in the jaw bone.

Dr. Weston A. Price's own son died because of root canal

complications.

Hi Bee,

My root canal was removed in July. The tooth in question is a molar bottom

left 2nd from the back. It has an all porcelain crown on it. Initially it

had a porcelain crown with gold under it that was put in in May. I had

problems the minute it was put in. Several days later the headaches started.

In October I had it replaced with the all porcelain crown and the headaches

went away except for when I first got up in the morning. I would have a mild

headache and then it would go away. About 2 weeks ago the headaches returned

- mild but all day. Around the same time (I think) I also started having a

very mild toothache in that same tooth on and off throughout the day and

slight sensitivity to hot and cold (which had gone away in October). I saw

my dentist on Thursday. He took an x-ray and said the tooth looks ok but it

was a little high. He took it down and it helped a little but I still have

pain on and off and of course the headache. I don't know what to do. I hate

having a tooth pulled that doesn't show anything wrong on the x-ray but the

headache could very well be related to the tooth. What would you do in my

situation?

Bee,

Only one person you know of died from a root canal? How many millions have had

them and lived? I had one several years ago and have had no problems with it.

If you go to a good endodontist, you should be ok.

Hi Beth,

There are other incidents mentioned. One I remember is a woman with

arthritis. Her root canal was removed, they cultured the bacteria, injected

them into a rabbit. The rabbit got arthritis and eventually died. The woman

finally found relief from her arthritis. There are many cases like this.

This is some interesting reading about root canals

Being a dentist and world renown researcher, it's too bad that Dr. Weston A.

Price couldn't save his own son.

Sorry for your loss, Bee.

Hulda , author of The Cure For All Diseases, also recommends

that anyone with a root canal should have it removed. I was pressured

twice to have the procedure but I had the teeth pulled instead.
