A few years back I had the opportunity to get all my old dental

work updated and deferred-maintennce finally fixed (found myself with

dental insurance as a domestic partner)and at that time I insisted on

having no metal fillings in my mouth. All my old mercury fillings

were replaced with white fillings. What a relief.

I can't say that I have felt better as a direct result of the

replacements, since I have been pursuing many other " alternative "

health therapies. But I am very glad to know that the mercury is all

gone.

My dentist, who is a sweeheart, doesn't promote amalgam

replacements, but gladly does it for all who request it. She pointed

out that the primary reason the dentist mainstream poopoos the

dangers of mercury poisoning is they're afraid they will start

getting their pants sued off for poisoning people if they admit using

a toxic substance.

Good fortune...

Mercury is one of the msot toxic substances known to Man, and

it's in your mouth....it leaches into saliva and gets into your

bloodstream. It's nasty, nasty stuff, causes untold damage, and I'm

getting both my fillings out the instant I can afford to!

Mercury Contributes To Alzheimer's Disease!

Scientists have shown that trace amounts of mercury can cause the type of damage

to nerves that is characteristic of the damage found in Alzheimer's disease.

The level of mercury exposure used in the test was well below those levels found

in many humans with mercury/silver amalgam dental fillings.

The research conducted at the University of Calgary Faculty of Medicine found

that exposure to mercury caused the formation of " neurofibrillar tangles, " which

are one of the two diagnostic markers for Alzheimer's disease.

Thanks, Dean

That's a very informative site.

I was thinking of calling holistic dentists to inquire whether the materials

they use are any different than what regular dentists use.

Now that I've heard of the risks involved, I'm not even sure I want to get the

old metal fillings removed...

It is strongly suggested you get Dr 's latest purple book with

the latest information on dental material radioactivity, tatoo's and

extractions. You need to be fully informed about not only the

materials involved to fill the tooth(if you do not choose extraction)

as well as the technique's used in any and all biological dental work.

Once you have read the book and decide what you are going to do, have

the work done by Dr. Solario. It will be done properly. If that means

saving money and waiting a few months, I would still choose Dr.

Solario.
