Peppers and Raw Foods

Lots of raw foods are shipped to the stores before they are ripe. Strawberries

(red outside, white inside are not sweet) and other fruits are rock hard. Most

will not ripen after they are picked but the growers want to get them to the

consumers quick. Now I suppose the question of peppers was meant to be bell

peppers. If so, please know that green bell peppers are not ripe. When they

ripen, they turn red, yellow, orange etc. Also they get sweeter and tastier.

Also they cost 3 times the price of the green. A lot of raw foods taste bad or

bland or can not be tolorated by lots of people. I always advise people to get

their fresh ripe foods from a Farmers Market. Most all have dirt & insecticides

on them wherever you get them, but if you want them CLEAN and FREE of toxic

stuff and dirt and bugs, get an ozonator. The kind with a UV light (Portazone).

How I use it: Wash your produce & dry. Put in large zip lock bags (unzipped) and

place on fridge shelf. Put the tubing in the fridge for 15 min. (keep the door

open a little to keep from mashing the tube). Then zip the bags closed. I have

done that for 2 heads of lettuce, quartered, and they lasted 2 WEEKS and were

as fresh as when I put them in the fridge. I don't waste food any more and I

don't have any mold etc. I use the ozonator to get rid of germs and viruses too.

Any kind of food, whether steak, bread, etc. can be ozonated. (it only takes

about 3 minutes to do one item on the kitchen counter in a bag). One of the best

money I ever spent. I believe this would help with your digestive problems.
