Guest guest
Hi , Some physicians have found that vitamin supplements have solved the problems such as the one you mentioned below. I will research this and see if I can come up with any suggestions. It may take me a day or so, nevertheless I will give it my best shot. wakiza21@... need help with medication advice - mood stabilizers Hello everyone. I'm very happy to find support online. I'm new to this group and newly diagnosed with OCD and Bipolar2 disorders. I'm writing primarily today in search of help and information about medication. I developed cardiac arrhythmia (irregular and/or rapid heart beat) after taking Lamictal; although my doc has never heard of the connection between the two. I saw a cardiologist who said the same. Nevertheless, I went off of Lamictal and the arrhythmias decreased dramatically in both frequency and intensity. Unfortunately I also started rapid cycling again without the meds, so I went back on Lamictal (it really works for me) and feel much better but the heart is beating irregularly and rapidly with much more intensity and frequency again - even with cardiac meds that are supposed to control the beat. I'm writing to ask if anyone else has experienced this or similar reactions to meds in general and/or Lamictal in particular? If so, did you find a solution? - Or, has anyone ever heard of this side effect? I look forward to reading the posts here to search for answers. thank you. Guest guest
There is a great support group for these conditions, known as Truehope. Look that word up on a search engine.
